Shiloh, Cumberland County, New JerseyShiloh, New Jersey – Current title has unnecessary disambiguation, as there are no other towns named Shiloh in New Jersey, according to the Census Bureau and Postal Service. Tinton5 (talk) 00:46, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

oppose. There's a populated place Shiloh, Warren County, New Jersey though I think, considering the USGS topo map it might consist of three or four houses only. BTW, it's the USGS with its Geographic Names Information System which is autoritative when talking on U.S. places names. --Matthiasb (talk) 07:39, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was afraid of that. So, then if you don't mind, you or someone else could create that page, by turning that link blue. I honestly could not find any listing there for Warren County, or any sources to indicate some notability. I will, however keep looking. Then we can leave this title for Cumberland County the way it is. I will create a disambiguation page, for these names. – Tinton5 (talk) 18:07, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support While I agree that GNIS has an entry for Shiloh, Warren County, New Jersey, there is no data for it from the Census Bureau or as a place with a post office or in the Encyclopedia of New Jersey or any other source I could conceive of. There is every reason to have the entry for Shiloh, New Jersey be the primary article referencing what is now titled as Shiloh, Cumberland County, New Jersey, which is why I support the move based on WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. A hat note could be added to reference the fact that a place called Shiloh exists within Warren County, most likely within Blairstown, New Jersey, but even the Blairstown article makes no mention of a place called Shiloh. If in the extremely unlikely event that there is adequate material to create a standalone article for Shiloh, Warren County, New Jersey it should be referenced in a hat note rather than as a disambiguation page. Orphaned references in Shiloh, New Jersey

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Shiloh, New Jersey's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "CensusArea":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:49, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
