Scored a goal?

[edit]

I saw no evidence to the allegedly scored goal in the attached source. How can he score a goal, anyway? 84.228.206.10 (talk) 16:25, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to Inter's own web pages that goal is not attributed to Toldo. Match report says that Toldo's shot was diverted by Vieri ([1]) and Toldo has zero goals in his statistics ([2]). --Jusba (talk) 17:37, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Here is another match report [3]. Youtube did not show anything. 210.6.121.21 (talk) 15:45, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

These links are all defunct. Watching the Youtube footage again, Toldo is the last person to touch the ball as you can see (0:58) [4] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.114.145.252 (talkcontribs) 09:06, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Toldo is also certain that he scored the goal and touched the ball last [5]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.114.145.252 (talkcontribs) 09:08, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The official match report attributes the goal to Vieri – who actually was the last player to touch the ball –, and we must adapt to it. Dan Kenshi (talk) 10:59, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Retirement

[edit]

Retirement announced here in this paper [6], english translation here [7].--Crossmr (talk) 00:36, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported in June 2010, but Toldo was once listed in 2010-11 squad along with new signing Castellazzi until 7 July 2010. 210.6.121.21 (talk) 18:48, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Released from Milan?

[edit]

If I remember correctly, Toldo was never released by Milan. Milan & Fiorentina co-owned him and Toldo wanted to stay with Fiorentina whom just won promotion to Serie A, instead of being possibly loaned to another club (in Serie B). He was part of the class of talented junior players that Milan had either on loan or co-ownership in the early 90s.Raul17 (talk) 22:51, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
