Open Line = Open Mind

Bush's talk-back radio show was originally titled 'Roger Bush's Open Line'; the name was changed to 'Roger Bush's Open Mind' at the suggestion of a listener, who admired Bush's non-judgemental style.

I have no documentary evidence to prove, or date this, but my mother was a regular listener, and I myself quite clearly remember hearing the caller suggesting this change. It was somewhere in the period 1969-72. Bluedawe 01:41, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
