Blood libel hysteria leading to Jewish persecution?

[edit]

Another WP article says that Deggendorf was a center of a Jewish blood libel that is still celebrated in the town. Should that be mentioned here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.19.80.29 (talk) 16:38, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was celebrated until the 1990s but not anymore. After an exhibition in the local museum that showed the whole story it was abandoned by the church. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.181.95.103 (talk) 19:53, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
