Ed Dundon pitched for Nashville at Chattanooga, Jun 18, said to be a "new pitcher" (Southern League). He pitched for Acid Iron Earth of Mobile AL in October, many games (Gulf League). Source: New Orleans Picayune, Jun 19 and October. --P64 (talk) 23:35, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He signed with Acid Iron Earth of the Gulf League on September 2, give or take a day. Perhaps the Southern League contracts expired September 1 (although Memphis played and disbanded a few days later). The Acids played a lot of baseball in September and October including dozens of games covered in New Orleans. --P64 (talk) 17:00, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
