This article was removed by an antonymous user who claimed that Dr. Eugene Eubanks was not noteworthy despite the inclusion of sources from the Kansas City Library, Kansas City Star, and the Journal of Negro Education (former name of a well-respected academic journal). It's 2022, but Wikipedia continues to erase Black history. Historiankc (talk) 01:48, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Historiankc: You say This article was removed – do you mean "reviewed"? I can't see any trace of a previously existing article that has been removed. The hardest thing to do as a new editor is creating a new article from scratch, and the majority of all drafts are declined the first time they are submitted. Instead of ascribing nefarious motives to your fellow volunteer editors, please remember to assume good faith, and attempt to understand what the actual reasons for declining the draft were. Wikipedia's policies and guidelines are complex, but there's assistance for new editors (see your user talk page for information on that). --bonadeacontributionstalk20:00, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I used the words "removed" and "erasure" because that is what is precisely what the first two anonymous Wikipedia editors did when they saw an article for a notable African American editor. This happens far too often on Wikipedia, but fortunately, Wikipedia records each action so people can see that this article was removed twice prior to its publication. I am thankful to the other contributors who recognized the historic significance of this topic and took action by conducting research and contributing to this wonderful article. Wikipedia is a better place because of contributors like them. Historiankc (talk) 14:23, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
