Death toll

[edit]

I believe something must be added to the "criticism" section. A few people died playing this game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.194.52.149 (talk) 22:43, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

origin of neknominate

[edit]

Neknominate originated in New Zealand

NZ has a skateboarder called Levi Hawken who coined the term 'Nek Minute' which is slang for 'Next Minute'

Which is how NekNomination got its name meaning 'Next nomination' — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.171.41.26 (talk) 02:13, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On BBC London (radio) this morning, the hosts mentioned it started here in the UK. It would have been about 10:10am or so. Unfortunately, I can't find the show to link to. 15:02, 16 February 2014 (UTC) Matt — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.228.96.130 (talk)

'Has to'

[edit]

What justifies the 'has to' in 'The nominated person has to complete the task within 24 hours.'? 'Is expected to' might be closer to the facts. 'Is expected to by vile drunken scum' would be spot on. 81.155.219.238 (talk) 13:57, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you're so bothered, why not just make the edit instead of going on a rant about it on this here talkpage? 62.190.148.115 (talk) 13:35, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note, [1] was redirected to this article in June 2014. It should be checked that info from that article isn't missing in this one. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 02:55, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
