Break article in two?
[edit]Currently, half of this article (the section USAGM CEO) covers in a very high level of detail – almost daily blow by blows – a six month period in the life of this 60 year old man. I don't believe this is consistent with WP:BALASP. I'd like to suggest this be shortened to a paragraph and the remaining content moved to a standalone article titled "2020 Controversies at U.S. Agency for Global Media" (or something like that) with a Main Article link ({{Main}}
) to it at the top of the USAGM section in the Pack BLP.
Doing so would also allow the various other BLPs (e.g. Amanda Bennett, etc.) who figure in this episode to link directly to an article providing further information presented as something that impacted the entire USAGM, instead of piping links to a sub-section of a different article and presenting it as only significant in Michael Pack's chronology. Trump or Biden
[edit]For discussion: Is the reasoning in this edit summary sufficient? - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Michael_Pack&type=revision&diff=1055449543&oldid=1046653380 —¿philoserf? (talk) 23:58, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
- Trump *and* Biden, to be precise. Brucejoel99 (talk) 00:34, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
- It's been a few days, but since the change would still be factually correct in comparison to what is presently presented, shall the proposed change go through? Brucejoel99 (talk) 02:43, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
middle name
[edit]Do any of the editors of this article know what the full middle name of Pack is? If so, please let us know. There are other Michael Packs out there and knowing the middle name of this particular Pack would be useful is disambiguating information about the various Packs that are out on the web? Thanks for any information. --L.Smithfield (talk) 01:56, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
wp:primary
[edit]The Review of Management Actions supported text has only a primary source. I do not have any problem with it, given my reading of wp:primary, but am reminded by recent discussions with User:Novem Linguae that others may. 2603:7000:2101:AA00:5878:D9D:5E2F:BDE3 (talk) 06:12, 15 February 2024 (UTC
