Is this information correct???

I know it is from Britannica, but I just visited Idalion (sic) and the information I have is that it dates from considerably earlier than this. See

http://www.assyriatimes.com/engine/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3084

for the 2005 results. The Dorling Kindersley guide to Cyprus also has some information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 51kwad (talkcontribs) 12:28, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rename to Idalion?

I reversed the order (Greek first) in the lede, and all the sources we quote or cite use "Idalion". I presume "Idalium" is the Latin version, but is there any reason for the article to be named that? Thanks, Pete Tillman (talk) 20:47, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
