Minnie Everett[edit]

Surprised at the deletion of Everett's appraisal of Vernon as "redundant and trivial". They were with JCW together 1893–98, she as ballet mistress in the latter years. Doug butler (talk) 02:32, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is redundant because we have other critical assesments of him. It is trivial, because she is just a fellow performer, not a critic, and her assessment of him is not independent. Plus, what she said is pretty obvious, because the patter character in G&S always has a "dominating presence" in the G&S operas. It is the equivalent of saying that Tina Fey thinks Alec Baldwin is cool and had a dominating presence in 30 Rock. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:41, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
