Silent, or voiced by Frank Welker?

[edit]

Incredible job on this article, by the way. But I have one point aobut important information missing form the article. It describes the characters, at various points, as "silent", yet they were indeed voiced by Frank Welker. Are there sources to explain what he actually voiced?--Coin945 (talk) 05:18, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! In the Development section I have an entire paragraph devoted to the animals' silence, at the end of which I wrote, "The animals' sound effects are performed by American actor Frank Welker", followed by two sources. In the context of the characters, the term "silent" simply means that they do not generate human speech. However, the still make very much animal sounds.--Changedforbetter (talk) 05:53, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh okay that makes sense. It's what I assumed. Perhaps giving some examples of the sorts of animal sound effects that required a voice artist (as opposed to stock sounds) might be useful.--Coin945 (talk) 06:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
