Summaries?

Alright, I'm sure that there are many people here who come to this wiki first before watching, and would not appreciate a dissertation of the entire plot in the page. Is it in everyone's best interests to make a shorter summary (or perhaps we should revert the plot synopsis into a summary from an older edit?)

The Storyline section of this article is in need of a total revision. It rambles. It's an utter spoiler. In addition, it's rife with innacuracies. The suggestions in the paragraph above sound very appropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SemblaceII (talkcontribs) 23:23, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a suggestion: This English version of wiki for Winter Sonata (겨울연가) should be further expanded into a more comprehensive version commensurate with the "status" of the drama and its monumental role in launching the Korean Wave. The Korean version of the wiki (http://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/겨울연가) could be consulted in developing the English version, particularly its reception in Japan and other countries. For a comparison, look at the wiki for a similarly monumental drama, Jewel in the Palace (대장금) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dae_Jang_Geum) and see how comprehensive its coverage and organization are... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.244.175 (talk) 08:48, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate information

it says in the article that the film is produced in March 02, but the show was screened from Jan to Mar 02, I think there is some inaccuracy here... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ocs (talkcontribs) 12:05, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How old are characters?

Three editors, three different points of view as to what year in high school the characters are in? It may not have ever been explicitly stated in the script. Is this important information to an encyclopedia user? I think so, in light of the characters' sophistication, and the fact that 28 year old actors are portraying high schoolers. The information either exists or it doesn't.

Category misconceptions

I don't think this would be properly classified as an American series. I think it's strictly Japanese/Korean only. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.218.37.172 (talk) 22:41, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Family Guy reference

The American series Family Guy did a spoof of Winter Sonata on the episode Candy, Quahog Marshmallow called "Winter Summer". I think this deserves a mention on the "In Popular Culture" section.Sega31098 (talk) 01:03, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If the episode was primarily about that, then fine, but please add a third party reference. BollyJeff | talk 14:22, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
