Why deciduous?

"..distributed worldwide, in essentially any habitat that has deciduous trees"

What is the relevance of "deciduous" here? I suspect you mean to exclude confiers, but in Australia we have many evergreens that are not conifers -- and many cicadas 49.199.65.117 (talk) 00:44, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
