Fair use rationale for Image:Luiz06.jpg

[edit]

Image:Luiz06.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sourcing this article

[edit]

I came to this article through recent changes patrolling and reverted unsourced material. A discussion on my talk page ensued.

== Luiz Ejlli Page ==

Stop with your biased and ignorant edits mate, you don't even know who Ejlli is and you keep doing stupid edits without having any information about the life and the activities of Luiz Ejlli. 185.237.17.29 (talk) 11:05, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Referring perhaps to my edit here [1], edit summary: "unsourced additions"? I don't need to know anything about the subject to challenge unsourced additions. Your edit added descriptions "songwriter" (he did not write the song performed at Eurovision), "entrepreneur", "jurist", "attorney", "cooking chef", "ex-diplomat" (a stretch from his appointment as First Secretary for Culture, Tourism, and Arts in the Albanian Embassy in France). Apart from the appointment to the embassy, none of those things are supported by a reference.
Your edit also added "After some years of absence on the public scene of national artistic and social life in Albania he once again rose to prominence gaining popularity among the albanian audience and received massive attention following participating, starring, being the main protagonist and" (unsourced), "winning the second season of Big Brother VIP" (sourced). Sourcing is an essential part of Wikipedia. Personal knowledge is valuable only before determining noteworthy things to add and finding a reliable source to support them. Once the edit hits the page, Wikipedia goes from relying on contributors' personal knowledge to relying on the sources. signed, Willondon (talk) 14:09, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've demonstrated that I'm willing to work on this [2], [3], [4], by taking weakly supplied sources and putting them in an acceptable form with the {{cite web}} template. I don't read Albanian, but have some knowledge of non-English languages to help identify some key words (e.g. 'avokat', 'kantatouri'), so the work I put in relied on Google Translate, and searching on some of the snippets that were supplied. But I can use more help.

  • Instead of supplying just the domain name (e.g. balkanweb.com) and a sample from the title/article (e.g. "Luiz Ejlli bëhet biznesmen"), it's helpful to give the URL of the exact page the support comes from. In the example case of BalkanWeb, the site search feature seems to be irreparably broken (error 301 with no forwarding address), so I could not find anything.
  • Understand that some content I reverted [5] was not suitable. It contained much hyperbole and looked to me as original research supplied from the editor's own analysis of Ejlli's career. Unless a secondary source can be found to have arrived at that assessment, it's effectively unsourced.
  • Some of the descriptors in the lead (entrepreneur, jurist, attorney) may get proper sourcing, but further information does not appear in the body of the article. The lede should summarize content in the article, so it will also improve the page if those elements of Ejlli's career can be expanded upon in the article body.

I look forward to working with anybody who wants to improve the page in this manner. Cheers. signed, Willondon (talk) 19:54, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Also got fictitiously married to Kiara Tito"???

[edit]

While editing the section Life and career of the article, I noticed this written:

Ejlli also got fictitiously married to his girlfriend Kiara Tito on the same night.

Is there any source that proves they were fictitiously married? As far as I know, they actually married each-other but maybe I am wrong. GrafiXal (talk) 10:36, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
