Map added
I have added a map with locations so we can remove this tag: {{reqmapin|South Africa}}. --User:DiscipleOfKnowledge (talk) 03:23, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
The coordinates from UNESCO correspond to one site and not to the bulk of the Cradle of Humankind, so I changed it to match the Cradle of Humankind article. Do I understand the UNESCO site coordinates correctly? Chris Swart (talk) 20:04, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
The location of Mapungubwe on that map is completely wrong. It should be in the north of the country, close to the Limpopo river. -- random reader who happened to chance upon the mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.215.6.53 (talk) 08:07, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
Is there another way to display this map? Some of the words are now starting to overlap each other. I don’t know how to fix this. Equine-man (talk) 18:03, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Assessment
Could somebody please give an assessment of this article, and also suggest ways to improve it? --User:DiscipleOfKnowledge (talk) 01:48, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- Only recommendation I can give at the moment is to include the geographic coordinates in the list. If the coords are there then {{GeoGroupTemplate}} can be used to export and/or display them on external mapping tools. Have a look at List of power stations in South Africa and List of dams and reservoirs in South Africa as an example. --NJR_ZA (talk) 09:35, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
I picked up some problems in the article. First of all the locations of Vredefort Crater and the Cradle of Humankind needs to be swapped on the map. Also in the article the locations (Provinces) that these two Heritage sites are located in is as follows: Cradle of Humankind - Gauteng Vredefort Crater - Free State Province — Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.8.123.11 (talk) 12:50, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure where to put this, but the location of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park on the map is not correct either. It should be near St Lucia (under Mozambique) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rpmmuller (talk • contribs) 21:37, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
I think there may have been some confusion when converting some of the co-ordinates to decimal, most locations seem out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.229.91.240 (talk) 08:25, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
