Merger

Is there a reason this shouldn't be merged into OPPO? It seems a bit frivolous to have a seperate page for the products, even Apple Inc. leaves the product descriptions on the main page.Xevus11 (talk) 06:01, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Xevus11: It was my idea. The reasoning is that Oppo has alot of different phones and it would be irrelevant and make the Oppo article too long and unreadable taking into account for future phones. An example where I have done this is the Xiaomi article where we have been shortening it lately and separating info in separate articles for readability, no one seems to have objections so far. My reasoning for Apple Inc. not having a separate page is they have fewer products and or product lines so it is possible to summarise each product line in the main article and go in depth for each product separately. Since each individual phone from Oppo does not have it's separate page, I was thinking this would be a better place to put them all and let the Oppo article concern more about the company rather than phones. @Araratic: That makes sense, im glad I asked before throwing down the PFD. I have approved the page with NPP tools, happy editing.Xevus11 (talk) 06:54, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Phones of OPPOPhones of Oppo – It seems like the capitalisation of Oppo is not needed now, as shown in the main article of the company Oppo. Wefk423 (talk) 14:29, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In other words I do not have an opinion on which spelling, I just think both articles should share the same spelling ~ Araratic | talk 12:16, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you understood what this page move was talking about. It is regarding the capitalisation or not of "Oppo", not whether this article should exist. Anyways, the arguments for that are above in the previous discussion. ~ Araratic | talk 12:16, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ROM means Read-Only Memory

Someone may confuse about tables headings. I suspect the "ROM" column wanted to mean "Internal memory" and not to be read-only. Narcis Garcia (talk) 09:12, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
