Dumb question

Doesn't Bung mean comrade in Javanese? RahadyanS 03:34, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it was slang for 'older brother' - kinda of both respectful but familiar. Is there anything in the use of 'Bung Karno' compared to 'Pak Harto'? Merbabu 03:38, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notorious collaborationist

This person made a free decision in 1942 to collaborate with the Japanese fascist occupiers. He help to provide Indonesian forced labour (romusha) for their war aims on a large scale. What is gained by attempting to suppress this understanding with the removal of the category 'Indonesian collaborationists'. Bar Sukarno there is hardly any otherwise it could more befit.Proudlyhumble07 08:40, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
