No References

You tagged my page on Kim's cabin as not using references...how does one reference when a person is using only their memory and information from a few postcards that Wikipedia refuses to post?? The problem is there are no web references to cite...I am perplexed...I was hoping this story would get additional information from other users...I drove to the locations to see what was there now...how do I document that?? I could cite aerial photos from google, but they would be removed as copyright violation...

hey how do i email you? send me your real email to my myspace and i will get it.

Hi Longhair, I wonder if you wouldn't mind having a look at this article as part of the crime series. It is unsourced and appears to deal in rumours. I know the shooting got a lot of attention in Melbourne but how notable is it really? I am unsure whether to clean it up or nominate for deletion. Cheers, Mattinbgn/ talk 07:30, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matt just removed the prod I put on the article... the article really is a bit sad, and I've got no interest in improving it but at the moment it looks like a sad memorial. Is there any WP - Aust Crime or WP - Melbourne interest in improving the article?Garrie 04:48, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ronbakir.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 17:08, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Umm

As long as it isnt punitive - you might wish to chastise criticise or simply re-arrange my starting up a northern territory wikiproject - I am learning that there is more to it than i expected - any clues would be appreciated re correct links and titles and things. In discussion with cj and riana - this project is being setup to standardise NT arts and subjects more than expectting massive involvement SatuSuro 04:30, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a good idea personally. What should we do with regard to tagging articles now that it's basically up? (I think it will be the usual three-four-editor-driven affair, but at least NT gets its own system) Orderinchaos 09:49, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
See you are in there already - it all just seemed to happen - an idea on a talk one night, and there the next day a project up and running, umm... SatuSuro 03:04, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry
