After the introductions, Frank and his children pull up to the Fosters' home in their Chevrolet Suburban. They're moving in! Frank and Carol passionately kiss, and it's all clear now - they eloped while vacationing separately in Jamaica. The two formerly-separate families try their best to deal with the uncomfortable situation but can't get along. Later, Al decides she doesn't want to go to school, and complaining of pain in her abdomen, holds her side. Frank thinks it to be a ploy to stay home from school, but Carol decides to take her new stepdaughter to the doctor. Good thing - Al's appendix was about to burst.
2	September 27, 1991	447004	The Dance	Steve Urkel crash lands in the Lamberts' yard as they are picnicking. He turns out to be Mark's science fair partner. After the science fair, he talks to Al, who has has been dumped by her former date for the school's backwards dance. Frank had told Al that everyone gets dumped at some point in their life and to move on. Steve re-enforces that point and convinces Al to ask him to the dance, where she tells off her former date and learns to "Do the Urkel." Note: In its original airing on ABC, this episode was part of a crossover with the "Family Matters episode "Brains Over Brawn."
3	October 4, 1991	447001	Rules of the House	Carol's household management style drives the Lamberts crazy - particularly that rule about having to cash in special tokens to watch 30 minutes of TV, and a six-hour-a-week restriction. Frank and his children make their opinions clear, but when Carol won't listen, Al decides her new stepmother might get the message when she threatens to move to Milwaukee to live with her grandmother.
4	October 11, 1991	447003	First Anniversary	Frank's nephew, Cody, comes to live with the family. Cody's oddball ways infuriate Dana, something that delights J.T. So, J.T. decides to make a bet with Cody - successfully ask Dana out, and you'll get paid. Dana finds out, and agrees to shun her pride and go out with Cody. Note: First appearance of Sasha Mitchell as Cody.
5	October 18, 1991	447002	Frank & Son	J.T. goes to work for Frank's company, but things don't work out very well. Still in need of extra cash, J.T. turns to Carol, who makes him her "shampoo boy," a job J.T. really enjoys since he gets to be around pretty girls. Meanwhile, Dana and Al each become frustrated at their assignments; Dana needs to build a birdhouse for shop class, while Al needs to write a book report on Tom Sawyer. The two agree to switch assignments, but Brendan prods their consciences.
6	October 25, 1991	447006	Pulling Together	Frank and Carol decide to enter the new blended family into the Port Washington Games. But J.T., Al and Brendan object, since their new step-siblings aren't very athletic. The more civilized Dana, Karen and Mark, meanwhile, see the games as too barbaric. Eventually, the Fosters decide to participate, with the predictable results, but even so they keep the Lamberts close. Eventually, Cody provides the new family some much needed help in the final tug-of-war event.
7	November 1, 1991	447005	Yo-Yo's Wedding	So that their marriage is declared legal, Frank and Carol agree to have a ceremony at their house on the day of Brendan's birthday party. But then the clown that Frank hired to entertain cancels, forcing Frank to hastily play the role. He doesn't have time to get out of costume before the wedding.
8	November 8, 1991	447009	Just For Kicks	Dana and her friend, Bernice, go to a seedy nightclub to hear a folk singer perform. But when some of the bar's regulars get a little too rough with Dana and Bernice, they don't know what to do. Fortunately, Frank (who forbade Dana to go in the first place) and Cody arrive to the rescue.
9	November 15, 1991	447008	Into the Woods	Much like their early-1970s counterparts the Bradys, the Fosters and Lamberts go camping in the woods. The attempt at family bonding doesn't go so well at first, but eventually, everyone gains an appreciation for each other.
10	November 22, 1991	447010	Mixed Messages	Carol buys an answering machine, and instructs the children to write down any messages, since the machine erases them upon playback. Karen gets a call from a potential boyfriend and neglects to hear the remaining message - one stating that Frank need not show up at a remodeling assignment, since they are demolishing the building instead. Frank doesn't get the message and barely escapes the building with his life. Frank finds out that his boss did leave a message, and arrives home very angry. Carol is upset and grounds Karen. In the subplot, Cody takes a job filling coin machines for children, but loses his job in short order.
11	November 29, 1991	447007	A Day in the Life	A crew from the TV series "America Up Close" does a documentary on the new Foster-Lambert family. However, all the camera crew can capture is the usual friction between the Foster and Lambert children. While Frank and Carol struggle to salvage the documentary, Dana decides her siblings and step-siblings need to put aside their hostilities for once until the crew finishes taping.
12	December 6, 1991	447011	The New Car	Carol buys a new car, which an unlicensed J.T. promptly borrows for a date. The car is stolen, leaving J.T. worried about more than just getting his date home on time.
13	December 13, 1991	447012	Getting Organized	Frank enlists Carol's help in organizing his messy office. Carol decides to convert some of Frank's papers into a computer database, which is fine until ... she accidentally erases the information. She failed to make a back-up copy, and what's worse, she threw away the hard copies of Frank's papers. Frank and Carol scramble to retrieve the information before they wind up in the landfill. Meanwhile, J.T. and Cody become obsessed with UFOs, which annoys Dana and Karen. Eventually, the two Foster sisters decide to play a trick on the gullible Lambert duo, but they are the ones in for a surprise.
14	January 3, 1992	447013	Home Alone	Frank and Carol leave for a lover's retreat. Dana is in charge, with a "no guests allowed" rule in effect. But Dana ignores the rule, and eventually a huge party breaks out. Frank and Carol arrive just in time to find J.T. somehow trapped in the chimney flue.
15	January 17, 1992	447014	Drive, He Said	Dana and Frank each take driving tests - hers to get her first license, his as a condition for renewal. Frank is humbled when he flunks his and Dana passes hers.
16	February 7, 1992	447016	Bully for Mark	Mark is told to do homework for a bully named Max, or else. Much to everyone's surprise, the bully is a girl. Al eventually comes to Mark's rescue. Meanwhile, school newspaper editor Dana writes a negative article on J.T., but J.T. finds out and decides to get even.
17	February 14, 1992	447018	The Boys in the Band	Al forms a rock band with four of her friends. On the night of their debut (at a bowling alley Frank recently renovated), all four bandmates fall ill, forcing Al to scramble to find replacements. Eventually, Dana and Karen decide to fill in. This would not be the last time Dana, Karen or Al would sing together, although J.T. and Cody (who dress in drag) would not remain a part of the act.
18	February 21, 1992	447015	School Daze	Carol goes back to school because she feels embarrassed about leaving school four classes short of a degree. She soon realizes as well as a student she's a also committed mother, wife, and beautician, and soon everyone's ready to be committed when Frank takes over the housework. Nobody can seem to remember to pick up Brendan either. All the kids decide to chip in so Carol can realize her dream and the house can run smoothly.
19	February 28, 1992	447019	Country Club	Carol is invited to a country club with the family. At the beginning, Frank is reluctant to go, but he is invited to a golf tournament with an important contractor who promises him a job for his next big project. Meanwhile, Dana likes his son, and is angry at Frank for doing embarrassing things at the club. But when she finds out that the contractor was using Frank to win the tournament, she sticks up for him, and dumps the contractors son.
20	March 6, 1992	447017	Daddy's Girl	Grandpa comes to visit with his fiance'. Frank recognizes her as a stripper from a bachelor party he went to a year ago. When Frank tells his dad, he storms off and does not believe Frank. He finds out later that she is an ex-stripper and they postpone the wedding. JT wants Dana to set up a date with a pretty friend of hers' so she makes him run errands for her all week. JT does not get along with her, but to show Dana there are no hard feelings he buys her spaghetti and meatballs. Amazingly, she does not enjoy it that much.

Dana does very well - 92nd percentile, but Cody does better. Dana cannot accept this and insists that they both take it again. Dana improves her score, but Cody still beats her - she is infuriated. Cody is not happy with his impressive results as he is afraid that he will be expected to be a brain surgeon. Cody and Dana later decide that their lives may take them on unexpected paths.
24	September 25, 1992	447902	To B or Not to Be	JT has a test coming up at school on Shakespeare.So Carol convinces Frank to help JT. Frank and JT first try a tape but that gets lost.But they soon discover it's all about sex and romance,they stay up all night studying. In the morning, JT is sure the test will be easy, because of his studying; however, JT receives a bad grade. Carol and Frank talk to the teacher and discover that she gave JT a bad grade because she believes because he is a jock,that he is stupid. After the talk, she reluctantly agrees to give JT a B+.Dana, in a moment of kindness toward , says that although JT is a sport-fanatic, he deserves better.
25	October 2, 1992	447904	Stuck on You	JT wants to date a girl way out of his league and goes to Karen for help, Al becomes friends with a girl her age and the girl's father, which spurs jealousy in Frank, who feel as though he is losing his daughter.
26	October 9, 1992	447903	JT's World	In a nod to "Wayne's World," J.T. starts his own local-access cable television show, "J.T.'s World," where he hires Cody as his sidekick. J.T. gets more than he bargained for when he invites a pretty classmate onto his show, but she falls for Cody instead. Also, Frank and Carol let differing answers on a compatibility test get to them.
27	October 16, 1992	447905	It's a Dog's Life	Al and Brendan agree to take care of a neighbor's oversized St. Bernard for the weekend, but the job quickly becomes more than they can handle. They get further annoyed when they learn the neighbors have decided to move away and no longer want the dog, which is fine with Carol because she has fallen in love with the dog. Eventually, Frank puts his foot down and tells Carol to take it to a kennel.
28	October 23, 1992	447908	The Boss	Dana learns a humbling lesson about being the boss and overseeing a group of employees when she is promoted to a managerial job at a 50s style restaurant. This happens after J.T. and Karen, employees under Dana's watch, quit when Dana becomes too bossy. Frank and Carol decide to take over their jobs but Dana quickly resumes her condensending demeanor. The parents set her straight, and Dana corrects her attitude.
29	October 30, 1992	447906	Model Daughter	A modeling job in Chicago may be Karen's dream come true — and the worst possible news for overbearing mother Carol. So, Carol tags along on Karen's photo shoot and meddles at every possible turn. Karen makes many new friends during her new job, which is cut short after one of the other models (who had also taken a modeling job as a teen-ager but never got to enjoy the other things in life) convinces her to stay in school and be a kid. At home, Dana — then all the other kids — come down with the flu, and they quickly make Frank their butler.
30	November 6, 1992	447909	Someone to Watch Over Me	Dana's new boyfriend is Mike Walters, whom — through the rumor mill — Frank suspects is out for nothing more than sex. Despite his misgivings, he allows Dana to go out on a date with "Mike the Mover." Still feeling uneasy about Mike, Frank gets Cody to drive him to Make-Out Point (where the two have gone to enjoy the moonlight and kiss). Frank — having passed up Cody's ridiculous idea of dressing up in a beaver costume to spy on the two — decides to climb into a tree to get a closer look, but the branch breaks under his weight and he literally drops in on the two. Dana is outraged and tells Frank to butt out of her social life forever. The next day, Mike drops by unannounced and, after talking about last night, suggests that he and Dana go to her bedroom to have sex. Dana realizes that Mike is no good and kicks him out. Frank comes in just as Mike begins to get aggressive, and Mike decides to leave. After trying to say she's OK and that she handled the situation well, Dana breaks down in her stepfather's arms. Also, J.T. is allowed to drive Frank's new truck, under the cavaet that he wash and wax the vehicle on weekend afternoons. J.T. decides to buy some discount wax (rather than one Frank specifically asked him to purchase), and — after conning Brendan to wax the truck — realizes just why he was supposed to buy the better wax; the cheap wax damages the truck's paint job. Frank is angry and makes J.T. get a real job to pay for the new paint job.
31	November 13, 1992	447907	The Making of a President	Annoyed that only dorks and geeks — in particular, Dana — are running for class president, J.T. announces he is running for class president. The campaign divides the Foster-Lambert home, and things are made worse when J.T. (having run on a campaign where it is suggested that regular students' needs aren't met) actually wins. J.T. at first puts up his bravado, but eventually wilts under the pressure and, having a new appreciation for the responsibilities that being class president brings, decides to turn over responsibilities to Dana.
32	November 20, 1992	447910	Virgin Territory	J.T. and Cody get dates with two girls that have "easy" reputations. When one of the girls pressures Cody to have sex, he tells her he plans to hold onto his virginity until the right woman comes along. This upsets both girls ... and J.T., who eventually realizes that Cody is right. Meanwhile, Frank is driven crazy when he is put on a low-cholesterol diet.
33	December 4, 1992	447911	Back to Basics	When a long-overdue video is found under Brendan's bed, Carol takes things to the extreme and imposes a severe crackdown on family spending. The children refuse to cooperate, so Carol goes tit for tat and takes everything away. Brendan is unfairly blamed, and when his siblings' alternating silent treatment and verbal abuse become too much, he decides to run away. Naturally, he doesn't go too far — he stays in Cody's van. Cody eventually exposes Brendan's whereabouts, and Frank and Carol help their youngest child realize that he wasn't to blame for anything. The older children are made to apologize, and all is forgiven.
34	December 11, 1992	447913	Boys Will be Boys	Frank deals with a high school classmate named Scooter, who still hasn't grown up after nearly 25 years after graduation. Meanwhile, Cody wins a turkey — a live turkey — in a supermarket raffle, and deals with his conscience when he is asked to have it butchered.
35	January 8, 1993	447917	If I Were a Rich Man	Cody learns that a recently deceased elderly resident of the local nursing home had bequeathed to him $250,000. When the Lambert and Foster children begin pestering Cody for a share of the inheritance (to spend extravagantly), Cody decides to give all but $500 of it to the nursing home. Cody spends the other $500 on a new video camera for the family (after the cheap one Frank purchased breaks down in spectacular fashion).
36	January 15, 1993	447912	Happy Birthday, Baby	Dana wants to celebrate her 17th birthday with a no-adults-allowed bash. When Frank and Carol say no, Dana decides to rent a hotel room for her fun. It turns out Frank and Carol decide to spend a romantic weekend in the same hotel — in a room directly across from Dana's suite. This naturally leads to conflicts. Also, Karen and Al get into a huge fight when Al screws up trying to wash Karen's blouse for a big date. In a parody of The People's Court, Judge Cody listens to the evidence ... and determines everything worked out well, as Karen's date loved the new look of the blouse.
37	January 22, 1993	447916	One of the Guys	Frank is looking for a replacement on his contracting crew ... and may have to hire a woman. Meanwhile, Mark and the others play the stock market.
38	February 5, 1993	447920	No Business Like Show Business	"J.T.'s World" becomes a huge local hit, drawing the attention of a national television syndicator. J.T., sensing a huge windfall about to come his way, agrees to go along with the new producer's suggestions (including firing his siblings), and begins neglecting his schoolwork and speaking freely to his parents. In the end, J.T.'s dreams of success are ruined when the producers want to hire actors to play both J.T. and sidekick Cody. A humbled J.T. agrees to focus on school and apologizes to his family.
39	February 12, 1993	447918	Love, Port Washington Style	Dana gets in a foul mood after her boyfriend dumps her right before Valentine's Day. So, she works a double shift at the 50s cafe and soon meets up with a boy that is the splitting image of her. Meanwhile, Carol recruits Frank to be a hair stylist during a busy stretch.
40	February 19, 1993	447914	Aloha (Part 1)	The Lamberts and Fosters travel to Hawaii, where a number of adventures take place: Carol wants to go on a whirlwind tour of the islands, the younger children enter a sand-castle building contest and Cody goes searching for lost treasure. Dana meets the man of her dreams, and a quick courtship may soon have the 17-year-old Foster girl walking to the altar when he presents her with a 6-carat solataire in a Tiffany setting. Note: Part 1 of a two-part episode.
41	February 26, 1993	447915	Aloha (Part 2)	Dana considers eloping with her rich boyfriend from Hawaii when Carol objects to her plan to get married. They get into a huge quarrel, where it is brought out that Carol married when she was just 16 and that quickie romances rarely work out in the end (Dana reminds her mother that she married Frank and that they are still together). In the end, Dana and her boyfriend realize that they aren't right for each other and sadly break it off. Meanwhile, Cody and J.T. discover the real treasure (which in part was tied to a pretty Hawaiian girl J.T. was trying to pursue), while Al, Brendan and Mark win a helicopter tour of Hawaii, the result of their victory in the sand castle building contest. Note: Part 2 of a two-part episode.
42	March 12, 1993	447919	No Way to Treat a Lady	J.T.'s new girlfriend, a brash biker babe, enlists Mark for advice on how to be more "lady-like." Meanwhile, Carol takes Al shopping for the 13-year-old's first bra, but Frank shows up uninvited and proceeds to embarass his daughter. Al runs away in tears, and Frank has no choice but to accept the fact that there are some things that are best left between (step)mother and (step)daughter.
43	April 2, 1993	447923	The Un-natural	Al's Pony League baseball team reaches the championship game, when tragic news hits; One of the players suffers a season-ending injury. Coach Frank is forced to ask Mark — who is "not even good enough to be bad" — to join the team, and considers sitting him until the game is decided. However, the game is tight all the way and comes down to the final out. Out of substitutions, Frank has to allow Mark an at-bat. Mark is very nervous at first, but only after Al threatens him with bodily harm does he focus ... and hit the game-winning home run.
44	April 30, 1993	447924	The Psychic	J.T. publishes an unflattering baby photo of Karen in the high school yearbook. Hell hath no fury like a Foster scorned, and she takes full advantage of J.T.'s worry that a brunette will stab him to death with a large butcher knife; J.T. had supposedly seen the vision while he visited a psychic, and Cody reinforces this ridiculous notion. Meanwhile, Frank and Carol new massaging bed provides them anything but a good night's sleep.
45	May 7, 1993	447922	This Old House	When Frank hires Cody to demolish a house to make way for a new multi-million dollar office complex, Cody realizes he can't complete the assignment because the homeowners — unemployed parents of two children, who are unable to afford new housing or new work — are still living inside. Frank is further thrown into a dilemma when Carol joins Cody in protesting the home's demolition ... and the financer of the office project threatens to sue Frank for breach of contract if the house is not demolished now.
46	May 21, 1993	447921	Double Date	Carol sets up Karen with Freddy, who is a 142 on Karen's grading scale. Karen, however, prefers Jeffrey (a 195). Despite disappointing Carol, Karen accepts a date with Jeffrey and dumps Freddy by lying to him. She sneaks out of the house to go with Jeff and they win Perfect Couple right after Freddy confronts Karen. She refuses the award and finishes the evening with Freddy. Carol does not like the way Frank organizes his money. She tries to make him use a male purse, but he refuses. He concentrates his efforts on putting an alarm on Lucille because Cody had his stereo stolen out of it. The alarm was so good Frank got stuck in the van demonstrating it.

48	October 1, 1993		The Apartment	Dana moves into an apartment down the street to gain independence, but soon realizes she is very lonely and misses the family.
49	October 8, 1993		Never on Sunday	Carol persuades Frank, J.T., Al and Brendan to start coming to church. But Frank stubbornly declines, thanks to his preconceived notions of pastors and because it could potentially interfere with upcoming Green Bay Packers football games.
50	October 15, 1993		The Paper Chase
51	October 22, 1993		Trading Places	It's the old "Who's job is easier game," played Foster and Lambert style. This time, parents Frank and Carol swap roles with J.T. and Dana when the comment is made that parenting is easier than being a teen-ager.
52	October 29, 1993		Video Mania	Mark becomes addicted to video games. He had started playing the games to relieve stress (from receiving an A instead of an A-plus on a test), but then his whole attitude changes. Mark is eventually sent to a support group to work out his addiction. Meanwhile, Dana is annoyed at Cody's way of relieving his cold.
53	November 5, 1993		Hog Wild
54	November 12, 1993		Down and Out in Port Washington	When Cody's van, Lucille (which doubles as his home and mode of transportation), breaks down and needs major repairs, he moves into the house. Naturally, he drives everyone crazy, annoying the family with his ant farm (which gets loose from their enclosure) and hanging laundry in the kitchen. Things come to a boil when Cody gets a call stating that the repairs to Lucille will cost more than the van is worth. Carol, thinking that Cody will become a permanent houseguest, threatens to move out ... but then Cody announces he plans to keep the van and continue living out of the stationary vehicle, parked on the Lamberts' lawn. Meanwhile, Dana begins volunteering at the local homeless shelter, and one day she brings over a man named Kevin to help her with a donation drive. Karen meets Kevin and decides she, too, is interested in volunteering — only so she can get to know Kevin and ask to be his girlfriend. Dana tries to talk Karen out of it but when she won't take no for an answer, they go to the shelter ... where Karen finds out for herself that Kevin already has a girlfriend. Karen is very upset that Dana withheld the truth and says she wasted her time at the shelter. Carol, however, scolds Karen for her vain attitude and tells her that the homeless people would give anything to have as many clothes as they do. Karen realizes her mother is right and decides to return three of her cashmere sweaters and donate the refund to the shelter.
55	November 19, 1993		The Marrying Dude	Cody meets a blind date through a biker magazine dating advertisement. The woman, Bonnie, is a single mother who is looking for the perfect father for her 8-year-old son. When Cody and Riley hit it off, Bonnie sees that Cody is the right man for the job and asks if they can get married. Cody at first accepts, but then realizes things are moving too fast and decides that he and Bonnie should see if they are compatible. Cody and Bonnie break up, but decide to remain friends.
56	November 26, 1993		Sister Act	Dana and Karen team up to teach the rest of the family a lesson about listening in on their private telephone calls.
57	December 10, 1993		Christmas Story	Frank and Carol wind up in jail on Christmas eve when they are caught inside a toy store by a know-it-all deputy sheriff. Frank had recently remodeled the store and was given a discount on the store's merchandise; later, he realizes neither he nor Carol had purchased a toy train set for Brendan and, in a moment of haste, go to the store after hours to buy it. Guest star: Don Knotts.
58	December 17, 1993		Close Encounters of the Marrying Kind
59	January 7, 1994		Bad Girls	Al, in a funk with making friends, falls into a bad group of girls. They dress in military fatigues, skip school and stay out late at night, among other things. Al's new attitude angers Frank, and the two get into a huge argument. But what hurts Al even more is her losing Cody's trust when she tries to take his air guitar without permission. Al finally realizes she needs to be herself and take her time in choosing friends (and wisely, at that).

61	January 28, 1994		Thirteen With a Bullet	Mark, who is celebrating his 13th birthday develops a huge crush on a pretty classmate, gets his first kiss and is subsequently rejected ... all within a matter of a few hours.
62	February 4, 1994		My Bodyguard	Cody annoys the family with his recollections of weird dreams. First, he pictures Al "behind bars" and "wearing a striped shirt," but she's just wearing a striped soccer jersey and showing off her hamster cage. But Dana gets beyond annoyed when Cody tells her about a dream where a man dressed in a suit is attacking her. He tags along and intrudes on her college interview in Chicago, and winds up assaulting the dean of admissions, thinking him to be Dana's assailant (he was bracing her as they were leaning out the window to look at the Chicago skyline). Dana angrily tells Cody she wants nothing more to do with him; however, Cody can't seem to shake his seemingly ridiculous bad vibes. That night at a bus station, a man dressed in a suit corners Dana when the two are alone. Before the man can sexually assault her, Cody shows up and runs him off. Dana breaks down in Cody's arms and thanks him.

66	March 25, 1994		Feeling Forty	Carol is feeling every bit her age as the big 4-0 approaches, so she decides to invest in some diet pills to improve her appearance. It only makes matters worse, as she quickly becomes hooked on the amphetamines. Meanwhile, Cody tries helping(?) Al with a research project about Abraham Lincoln. Instead of going to the library and looking up the information, Cody suggests consulting a psychic who supposedly has connections with the 16th president. When Al sees Cody talking with "Honest Abe" as though he were right there in the room, she realizes she needs to do the work herself.
67	April 29, 1994		The Case of the Missing Diary	Cody gets some inspiration for a class writing project when Karen can't find her diary. He uses her plight to spin a 1940s-style detective yarn about who took it, with the Fosters and Lamberts filling the roles of Cody's characters.

With a little help from Frank, Cody tells his father he's simply not interested and would rather continue working in demolition. Meanwhile, Carol (as a favor for a customer) sets up Dana and Karen on blind dates, against their express wishes. The guys turn out to be living images of Penn and Teller. After Frank gets rid of them, he helps his step-daughters set up a "get even" prank on Carol.

Meanwhile, Dana's date with the school hunk also doesn't go very well (he got back together with his ex-girlfriend). Even though Tommy eventually wins, Mark wins Tommy's respect ... which is more than can be said for the coach, who keeps taunting Mark and then Cody. Cody tries to leave, but the instructor presses his luck too far and Cody is easily able to subdue the loud-mouthed coach.
71	September 30, 1994		College Bound	Dana learns a tough lesson in humility when a tough English professor gives her a D on her first term paper for using too many "big words" and not focusing enough on the paper's content. Already enduring humiliation from her Lambert step-siblings, Dana complains to her teacher but gets no sympathy. She vows to improve her "intellectual" attitude ... then learns that Cody has enrolled in her college. Also, J.T. learns a hard lesson about how credit cards work when he his somehow able to obtain one and quickly goes on a shopping spree.

Not wanting to swallow his pride and admit to his father that he made a mistake, J.T. asks Cody to come get him. However, Frank arrives and, after a heartfelt discussion about his place in the family and that everyone - even the Foster step-siblings - want him home for the holidays, J.T. does the right thing.

J.T. becomes very angry when Dana tries to tell him about the teacher's motives, but decides to ask her anyway. When she begins to make her move, J.T. realizes Dana was right. Also, Cody annoys the family with his sleepwalking.
90	April 28, 1995		Where Have You Gone, Joe Dimaggio?	Cody takes Brendan to a baseball game, featuring his favorite player, Kenny Barton. After the game, Brendan meets his hero and asks him to autograph his baseball; however, Barton is nothing short of rude to Brendan and demands a $50 fee for an autograph. Cody - after consoling Brendan - then confronts the egotistical Barton during a TV interview and exposes his demeanor. The interviewer - Hall of Fame player and broadcaster Harmon Killebrew - is equally outraged and offers to sign Brendan's baseball at no charge. Brendan gladly accepts Killebrew's offer. Also: Carol and Dana make a bet with Frank and JT that they can't handle how it feels to be pregnant. So they had their bodies stuffed with melons and canteloupes to make them look like pregnant women! Notes: Brendan's last featured storyline. Also, there is an overt reference to Suzanne Sommers' previous series Three's Company; in the scene, Carol in the living room watching Three's Company, and remarks how she likes Chrissy. Daniel Evans also guest stars in this episode.

Karen is fuming, even though she had caught the eye of others at the party ... until Dana learns that Jeremy - at least six years older and much larger than 15-year-old Al - is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Just before Jeremy can back the petite Lambert girl into a corner she can't get out of, Dana and Karen get a bunch of guys to run Jeremy off.

Dana is convinced that childcare will be simple, until Lily accidentally gets locked in her room and the girls have to call the Port Washington Fire Department to break down the door. Fortunately for Karen and Al, the three firemen who respond are young and handsome. Unfortunately for Dana, they are able to pick a lock she could not and she has to admit to Carol in the end that she was wrong. Meanwhile, Frank and Carol's date is ruined by a series of disasters. The workers of the restaurant go on strike. The Movie Theater has a patron who cannot seem to shake his phlegm-filled cough and ends up stealing Franks hot dog. A bear relaxes on the hood of Frank's truck while they are trapped inside surviving on beef jerky, because the pizza boy was afraid of the bear.Frank and Carol soon realize that sometimes simply being together is all the romance they need. Cody thinks he has died when he reads his obituary in the local newspaper; but he is convinced when his credit card reads, "Cardholder is deceased." He thinks he has to come to terms with his death and just as he begins to do so, JT shows him that the dead Cody Lambert was an 80-year-old war hero. Unfortunately, Cody had just given away all his worldly possessions, including his guitar.
96	October 13, 1995		Party Animal	Dana has the opportunity to move into a house with her friends. When her friends throw a party, Dana goes wild with her new freedom. She gets drunk - starts to dance, kiss random boys and act wild. Karen and Al take photos of Dana throughout the evening. When Carol shows Dana the picture of her swinging topless from the chandelier, even Dana is surprised. She then decides living at home is not that bad. Frank wants Lilly to move out of their room which causes the first of several arguments. Frank finally wins and Lilly is moved to her room. Frank returns delighted to find Carol...asleep. Cody mistakes a guy who sells toupees during "America's Most Wanted" as a Jewel Thief and he's there new next door neighbor. Cody, Mark and JT become convinced when he asks if he can have a package delivered to there house, and after hearing several awkward dialogs. This climaxes in a series of mistakes as the package arrives the guys call him over and set a trap.As it turns out the package was a Cheese cake but they find out to late as the poor guy gets trapped in a net set by the guys.
97	October 20, 1995		Midnight Caller	JT and Dana are stuck doing a community project together for a class. They must work at a Suicide Help Line. A boy named Todd calls saying he is about to commit suicide because he is beginning to enter a step-family situation. Dana and JT get so involved slamming each other that he hangs up on them.Thinking that he has commited suicide they begin to freak out.But fortunately he comes by later and they are able to comfort him, and Dana and JT learn what is important and how much they really love each other. Lilly stays up crying all-night and only Cody seems to have the ability to silence her. Carol is convinced Lilly hates her and is extremely worried about it. Finally, Cody is able to show her that the only reason Lilly cries around her is because she is so tense and Lilly can sense that.
98	October 27, 1995		Maid to Order	Frank decides to hire a new housekeeper for Carol. So he and JT set about interviewing potential employees. After having no luck what so ever, Frank leaves to run an errand and tells JT to do the last interview himself.It turns out to Carrie a former swimsuit model. JT hires her on the spot. As it turns out she knows even less about housekeeping than JT did about modeling. So before long JT is doing her work for her just so it appears she is doing a great job. In the end Frank finally makes JT fire her. Karen is in the running for Head Cheerleader and Carol makes it her personal mission to make sure she doesn't fall short. Being that Carol lost out to another girl when she was in high school she becomes some what obsessed. Carol is there when they announce the winner and it's Karen......Covington. Carol would soon find out that Karen Covington was the daughter of Becky Sue Covington, the girl she lost out too so many years ago. Cody starts teaching a senior citizens aerobics class and gets them into such good condition they want him to do the same for their husbands.
99	November 3, 1995		Don't Ask	Frank and Carol become frustrated with their children constantly asking them to run their errands and small favors. Eventually, they lose their patience and implement a rule where the children must do everything for themselves and not to bother them. The rule is put to the test when Brendan — wanting to go on a trip with his soccer team to watch a Green Bay Packers game — decides not to "bother" his parents to have them sign a permission slip allowing him to go. The slip never does get signed, and when Frank finds our from the soccer coach why would Brendan miss out on going to a football game. So he asks an upset Brendan what's the matter, he explained about that rule of not bothering them. Frank apologized to his son & lets him go to the game after all, he and Carol decide to ease up on the rule. Also, Cody orders a ham radio from Russia, but winds up getting a mail-order bride instead; he has his hands full getting rid of this domineering woman from the East. And, aspiring country singer Karen is approached by a man claiming to be a record producer, who promises to take her demo tape to a major studio in exchange for a $500 fee. However, the naïve Karen later realizes she was ripped off and that she will probably never recover her money ... much less, become a big star. Dana gives her sister some solace by getting her song played on a local radio station. Note: Angela Watson covers the Patty Loveless song, "Blame It On Your Heart." Note: This would be the last shining moment for the character of Brendan Lambert. Josh Bryne's character would be reduced to 30-second, one-liner-type appearances before being dropped entirely during the 1997-1998 season.
100	November 10, 1995		Hello, Mr. Chips	Al has just lost another job and Frank encourages her to be a "team player." Karen tells Al of a job at the mall. Al gets the job at a cookie store called Mr. Chips,named for a monkey. She ends up having to take Mr. Chips home, creating some interesting situations. Carol tries to convince Frank to be Tarzan while she plays Jane for the fundraising skit at the community theatre. She gets an underwear model to pretend to be acting the part of Tarzan to make him jealous and hopefully convince him to take the part.It works. JT makes a bet with Big Jim that Mark can beat him. Mark uses Geometry and Physics to win. He ends up beating Big Jim for the $1000 that Cody makes JT give to Mark.
101	November 17, 1995		Roadie	Mark's favorite singer, Christi Rose is coming to town. Cody gets a job as her Roadie and introduces her to Mark who promptly passes out.Christi falls for Cody and offers him a full time job as her Bodyguard. He is tempted, but decides he enjoys his lifestyle too much. Although he offers her the chance to move her van in right next to his, but much like Cody she likes her lifestyle to much too. They remained close, because the entire clan of children sings with her (including Al on the drums)at the end of the episode. Frank finally agrees to buy a car for Al,JT,Dana and Karen after numerous complaints.He not only buys a car but he comes home with his dream car a 1965 mustang. He becomes so obsessed with it; however, the children hardly ever get to drive it as Frank comes up with one excuse after another to keep them from it.In the end Carol has to point this out to him,and Frank realizes his mistake and gives the car to the kids,at last.
102	November 24, 1995		The Wall	Being fearful of ending up on the "loser wall" is enough to get Mark Foster to work out. Working out, however, is not enough to keep Mark Foster off the "loser wall." Despite being on the wall, Mark is asked to a dance by Tawny Spencer, the prettiest girl in the school. When the girl's bullying, ex-date threatens Mark, Mark stands up to him. Karen and Al (and reluctantly their dates) immediately jump to Mark's defense. The entire school supports Mark and he wins the heart of the heartthrob. Dana organizes a feminist group, which has a very low turnout. Also disheartening Dana is the fact that one of those in the group was Cody. All the members seem to like the group because the Codeman is in it, and when the group finally has a good turnout, it is revealed that the majority only came for a date with Cody. After receiving all this heartache, Dana looks upward and states, "Maybe You are a man." Carol talks Frank into reluctantly going to a therapeutic couples' health spa. Both their feelings appear justified, however, when they have greatly varying experiences. While Carol loves every therapy event, Frank is miserable the entire time, especially during the painful massage from domineering Inger.
103	December 1, 1995		Baby Come Back	JT and Al baby-sit for Lilly and impulsively take Lilly to an audition to represent a baby food company in Milwaukee. When changing a diaper, Al and JT notice that they returned with the incorrect baby. Upon Frank and Carol's return, the whereabouts of Lilly are still uncertain. As it turns out, Jeffrey was the younger brother of a babysitting teenage boy who had similiarly been enticed by the cash reward. At a beauty products convention, Frank annoys Carol by complaining about how boring it is. She finally tells him to wait for her in the bar. But Frank is convinced by a beautiful product representative to have his follicles massaged. When Carol catches Frank "flirting" with the saleswoman, they argue and agree not to force each other to attend their respective business functions anymore. Also, Dana and Cody get trapped in Cody's magic box. After Cody tells Dana his life story, sings 1,000 bottles of beer on the wall, and otherwise annoys her; he receives a call on his cellular phone.
104	December 15, 1995		The Fight Before Christmas	Franks old friend Mitch Crawford is coming to town Carol and Frank set up a date for Al with Mitch's son,Matt. Both Matt and Al come in with a bad attitude, but they soon discover they have a lot more in common than they think and start having fun.There having so much fun they end making out in the driveway as the car is being covered in snow. When Frank discovers them, he kicks Matt and his family out of their house. Al goes with them because she thinks her father is being unreasonable. Frank has to go to the all-you-can-eat-turkey for $1.99 to apologize and invite them back. Cody blows up his van by running Christmas lights from the main generator. Because "The Night before Christmas" was in his van, Cody was required to tell Lilly an impromptu version. JT has a job selling Christmas trees. Cody cannot make it because he was injured in the van accident; therefore, his friend, George, spends his free time with JT. George teaches JT that more important than money is the joy of a kid's face when he is given something. JT learned so well that he gave up his earnings to buy Jimmy a tree.
105	January 5, 1996		What's Wrong With This Picture	Dana admires a abstract, feminist artist and is honored to be chose to pose for her. Knowing she will be a part of what be a great work, she agrees to pose nude. Since Dana is convinced that the work will be abstract, and she will not be recognizable, she proudly invites Frank, Carol, Karen and Al to a charity auction where it will be unveiled. Unfortunately, the painter decided to change styles to Photo-realism, and the painting is obviously Dana. Carol is determined to outbid the "perverts," but Frank does not allow her to top $100,000. Fortunately, the artist destroys her work, because anything that appealing to the masses must be bad. JT goes on a date with Casey Maxwell, the daughter of an alleged crime boss, who requires him to spend $200 per plate for their date. When JT ends the relationship, he fears for his life. Frank refuses to hire an exterminator to kill the rat in the attic. He becomes so obsessed with catching the rat that he hurts himself (throwing out his shoulder, falling through the floor, stepping in a rat trap, etc.). When Frank finally calls the exterminator and he comes to the door, JT fears it is the mobster coming to kill him, the rat.
106	January 12, 1996		Beautiful Ladies of Wrestling	J.T. and Frank will do ANYTHING for Super Bowl tickets. They dress up like women and wrestle Assualt and Battery for 10 rounds to claim them. Meanwhile,Mark is placed in a school for the gifted. On his first day at the new school, Mark gets a "C" on a pop quiz. He neglects his friends and stays up all weekend studying. When Carol catches him, they decide that the new school is a step backward for Mark. Also, Cody "invents" clothing made from food when going camping. Without having to pack clothes or carry heavy food, it appears to be a good idea. However, Cody realizes that there are a lot of hungry animals in the woods.
107	January 26, 1996		Torn Between Two Mothers	Frank's mom comes to town to see Lilly. She tells Carol how to do everything. While everyone else is enjoying "Nana," Carol grows more and more frustrated with her as her advice becomes more and more personal. Finally because of some advice from Carol (and Cody), Frank stands up to his mother. Then Frank's mother realizes what a terrible mother-in-law she has been. At the same time, JT gets a job as a dummy for a women's self-defense class. Dana, Karen, and Al join the class and after seeing what it is there practicing (shots to the groin) JT quits in the middle. Also, Cody gets a job doing brain experimentation.
108	February 2, 1996		Snow Bunnies	Al's boyfriend, Matt, Al, and some other friends plan a ski trip, But Frank refuses to let Al go. So Stephanie "Love Boat", takes her place and after talking to JT,Al gets worried. JT and Al go up to check on Matt and the "Love Boat," but Matt proves he only cares for Al. Cody has a gnarly case of the hiccups. He tries to scare himself, be hypnotized by Mark, and drink five gallons of water, but the only true remedy is time. In the meantime, Carol reads a horror book, despite Frank's encouragement to read Garfield. Finally, the nightmares are so bad, she needs "Garfield" to help her.
109	February 9, 1996		Secret Admirer	Frank buys Carol a fake Swiss Rolet watch (for Valentine's Day) and pretends it is the real thing. Carol feels so bad about Frank spending too much money that she tries to return it, and gets thrown in jail. When Frank bails her out, she tells him that she loved the watch because it was from him, and that the most important thing is honesty. Frank sweeps Carol off her feet with one of Cody's letters, but Carol is even more impressed that he tells the truth about it. Dana gets dumped just before Valentine's Day and turns into the man-hater she can be. Cody writes her "Secret Admirer" love letters to help lighten her up, hence improving her personality. It works perfectly and allows Dana to get a boy that she really likes.
110	February 16, 1996		Forever Young	Frank and Carol go to a class with Lilly for parents of young kids. In this class they begin to feel they are too old for Lilly. They try to be "young" like some of the other parents. They go to a grunge club with the parents of another kid and they realize that they don't need to change their entire lifestyle for Lilly's sake. Rich and JT tell Dana that "buds are thicker than babes." Dana disagrees and challenges them, then she tries to get a friend, Brandy Hartman, to come between them. JT and Rich figure this out and end up trapping Dana into an embarrassing situation. Cody tries to make many strange greeting cards, including one that explodes for National Demolition Worker's Day.
111	February 23, 1996		Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?	Cody's cheese hat gives him the ability to predict the winning lottery numbers. Karen, Mark, and Brendan try to take advantage of that and get the numbers from him. Cody didn't think it was fair to keep it all to himself so he put the numbers up on the big billboard at the Packers game and it made the ESPN Play of the Day-- making a lot of winners and the prize basically worthless. Dana introduces a psychology major named Fleming to her parents thinking he is "the one." Frank and Carol hate him and his ideas and so does Dana when the gift he promised turned out to be psychiatric help. Frank gladly throws him out. While baby sitting Lily JT Meets a girl who assumes he is Lily's dad and he uses this to get a date. It doesn't work out as she thinks he is too mature for her and doesn't believe him when he tells her the truth.
112	March 8, 1996		Do the Right Thing	J.T. has a huge test coming up in one of his classes, and his friend is able to get a copy of the test. J.T. decides not to cheat on the test, but rather to study for it. J.T. ends up getting a B on the test, and when he and his friend get their books mixed up, Frank sees the cheat sheet and tells J.T. he is both disappointed and he will no longer pay for J.T.'s schooling. Later, Frank overhears J.T.'s friend returning for the book and he apologizes and they make up. Al gets an idea to get a tattoo. Even though she is told she can't she finds a way to get to the shop. Dana, however, saw her heading out and was able to tell Carol, who was able to arrive just before Al went in. Carol tried to tell Al several things, but was not able to convince her not to go through with it until she told and SHOWED her the ill effects of one.
113	March 15, 1996		The Bodyguard Formerly Known as Prince	Dana, Karen, and Al go to a ski lodge for a weekend and meet 3 good looking guys one of whom is the prince of Calderone. The prince(Karen's) wants people to like him for who he is, and henceforth makes his bodyguard(Dana's) claim to be the prince. This causes Dana to gloat and Karen to sulk. Meanwhile, Rich gives the remaining Lambert/Foster clan a chain letter which promises good luck if you keep the chain going and vice versa. Everyone except Brendan decides not to return the letters. Everyone gets orange hair (except Brendan) from using Carol's free samples while Rich gave his shampoo to his parents.
114	April 26, 1996		Major Pain	Dana cannot deteemine what to do and JT and Rich are not able to major in "Nude Volleyball," therefore they all end up taking a career placement test together.The results of the placement test say JT and Rich should become doctors and Dana should become a guard at an women's prison. Dana, livid from the results, demands a re-test and ends up discovering the testing center is a fraud. Dana then investigates (doing a job so good JT tells her she should become an investigative reporter) and discovers the owner has been convicted of the same crime several times before. Meanwhile, Carol repays a favor by hiring Flash to work for Frank; Flash, in turn, destroys almost everything, and is only redeemed by his remarkable work done while staying up all night working.
115	May 3, 1996		We're Going to Disney World (Part 1)	Frank's mother offers the entire family a trip to Disney World the weekend of Frank and Carol's anniversary. Flash shows up to return Frank's hammer and ends up staying the weekend, and over the weekend he visits more rides than anyone in the history of Disney World has beating out a Ukrainian and bringing the title back to America. JT and Rich dip into their apartment fund to get Rich to come. J.T. poses as J.T. Disney (Walt Disney's Nephew) and ends up spending the whole fund trying to attract to beautiful girls. They go different ways for a few hours until JT "redeems" himself by selling his plain ticket and agreeing to ride the bus back with Rich. Karen enters a country music contest with Dana and Al as backup singers but gets rid of them because they aren't dedicated enough. When she gets on stage the first time, though, she realizes that she needs them. After a little making up Al and Dana agree to re join the group and they rock the house with "Girls with Guitars" By "Wynona" Notes: Part 1 of a two-part episode. 117	May 17, 1996		Men at Work	J.T. and Rich eagerly apply and are hired at a restaurant (which Dana and her feminist friends had planned to protest against) with sexy waitress. They learn how bad harassment really is in those places, but they get in one final night of not caring. Frank converts part of the basement into a lounge using items he bought from a closed tavern. While the men love it, Carol has a serious accident with a one of the lounge's "toys". The closer shows interesting riding on the toy by everybody, especially Dana. Flash sleeps on the Lamberts' couch while his apartment is being fumigated. He brings a lot of energy to the house and the lounge. Notes: This is the last appearance by Flash, even though Carol and Frank invited him to move into their house to avoid driving eight hours back and forth from Kansas City to Washington Point. This was also Flash's first time seeing the Lambert-Foster house. Notes: Flash drinks alot of coffee so he only needs ten minutes of sleep a night. But if its only seven or eight minutes hes really grouchy.

After traveling almost the whole way, they finally discover that Dana has stowed away in the back seat. After reaching the border town of Tejada, they end up in jail, when Rich gives all his money to Dana and they can't pay for the burritos they just ate. Dana's mouthing off to the officer over what she sees as him trying to take advantage of her, only makes things worse. In the meantime, Carol has a bright idea. Frank should teach Jean-Luc how to drive. But for once he refuses and Carol takes her life in her own hands when she attempts to teach Jean-Luc herself.
120	March 21, 1997		Sex, Lies and Videotape	J.T. accepts the hasty marriage proposal made by Michelle, a sexy French woman ten years his senior, but as Jean-Luc discovers that there are some serious hidden strings attached. Michelle as it turns out is about to lose her visa and must return to France. So she tries to get JT to marry her so she can stay. Meanwhile, after Frank refuses to let him go and see Showgirls, Mark and his friends go the video store and discover "Naughty Nurses" in a video case of the Little Mermaid. After they get caught watching it in the Garage, Frank has a long talk with Mark.
121	March 28, 1997		Just Say Maybe	The kids all head off to Rockfest 97, causing Carol (as usual) to worry they might misbehave. Just as she had feared they are tested. when Al's morals are put to the test when she's tempted to try marijuana. Meanwhile, when Patti, Carol's friend from high school, finds herself being ignored by her husband, she develops a crush on Jean-Luc. Note: This is where the audience finds out Carol tried marijuana back in 1967. Note: Carol also attended Woodstock and danced on a VW Van.
122	April 4, 1997		The "L" Word	Frank and Jean Luc go camping to do a little "Male-Bonding". Frank tells Jean Luc not to tell anyone he's a contractor, beccause he doesn't want everyone asking him to fix this and that.So Jean Luc tells the couple next door there certainly not hairstylists,but there brain Surgeons.Turns out the lady is pregnant and she goes into labor just as her husband goes fishing.So Frank and Jean Luc have to deliver the baby. Meanwhile, back at home Dana begins to question her relationship with Rich when an old friend from high school, now attending Harvard, tries to woo her away. Rich gets jealous and forbids her to see him,which only makes Dana laugh.She then accepts an invitation to go with her friend for the weekend to visit the Harvard campus.Rich shows up and things get crazy.
123	April 11, 1997		She's the One	J.T. finally meets the girl of his dreams in Sam, the tow truck driver. They have everything in common and after some urging from brothers and sisters he asks her out. They end up going to a packers game and from then on it's love. J.T. is initally confused about his feelings for Sam until he has a conversation with Jean Luc and it all becomes clear. He in love with Sam. Also Karen's big music break finally comes, when she is selected to appear in a video with one of Country Music's biggest (fictional) stars, Jimmy Ray Johnston. So Frank, Carol and Karen all travel to Chicago for the big shoot. But it turns out that Jimmy Ray only wants Karen to look good and not actually sing. So she quits. Note: Even though Karen and Carol stomp out and Frank tells the production to "Bite Me", Carol and Frank do a music number at the same studio in Chicago.

Carol wants to spend more quality time with the girls - they decide they have better things to do. Carol ends up tricking them into and takes them to a karaoke bar.
125	April 25, 1997		Reality Bites	When JT and Rich squander their money and can't pay the rent on their new apartment, they are evicted by their landlord -- Frank. Meanwhile, because his daughter, Danielle, is in France and her birthday is drawing near, Jean-Luc spoils Lilly with an abundance of gifts to ease his pain over not being able to be with his daughter. In the end Carol works it out so Danielle can come stateside and see her father.
126	May 2, 1997		Locket Man	A clueless Rich gives Dana a piece of recycled jewelry for her birthday, but finds the party's over when the gift turns out be a locket -- with a picture of him and his ex-flame inside. Meanwhile, Carol and the kids must endure the rite of passage that all men face when Frank goes through a mid-life crisis.

Meanwhile, after being dumped by her date, Karen feels that her "imperfect" body is the culprit and takes drastic measures to improve it.
130	May 30, 1997		The Big Date	Al's in for a disappointment when she discovers that her blind date is overweight-- and carrying an even heavier chip on his shoulder. Meanwhile, Carol's "worry meter" jumps off the scale when Dana, Rich, JT, and Sam check into a Chicago Hotel unsupervised.
131	June 6, 1997		Future Shock	Rich and Dana go to a wedding with JT and Sam. They are teased and told that someday soon, they will be married. Dana, furthermore, does not even go up to try to catch the bouquet, but it lands on her lap anyway. They each have terrible visions about what that might entail and become very scared. They agree not more weddings for a while. Meanwhile, Frank and Jean-Luc work to build Lily's new jungle-gym, despite Frank's terrible cold. Jean-Luc suggests some homemade cold medicine made by a customer, "from all-natural juniper berries." The two take a lot...and end up completely drunk.
132	June 13, 1997		Show Me the Money	When JT and Rich take on the job as sports agents to an up-and-coming college hockey player, they find themselves becoming his personal servants and dating service—with Karen serving as the main course. Meanwhile, the battle between the hairdressers and the contractors begins when Carol and Jean-Luc challenge an overly-macho Frank and his pal, Moose, to a game of bowling.
133	June 20, 1997		It Didn't Happen One Night	rank orders the Maximum Sports Channel, and he and Rich spend so much time watching it that they ignore Carol and Dana. Jean-Luc gives the girls makeovers and helps the guys plan a romantic evening. All 4 of them enjoy the evening, and the vacant TV allows Jean-Luc to watch the sports channel, but he only gets confused. A guy named Kyle, the school hunk, goes on a date with Al and the date goes well. They seal it with a kiss ... but Kyle wants to take things one step further and tries to sexually assault Al. The petite Lambert girl fights him off and tells him it is over. The next morning, Karen is complaining when Al keeps getting date offers, but Al finds out she has a new reputation she doesn't want. Seems Kyle had been spreading rumors that he and Al had sex. Karen refuses to believe her step-sister (since she also has her eye on Kyle), but only when Al breaks down in tears does Karen finally realize she needs to settle the matter. She helps expose Kyle as a liar.
134	June 27, 1997		Macho Man	JT, Sam, Rich, Dana, and Al go miniature golfing, and Sam wins. She, also, wins in Ping-Pong, Arcade, batting cage, and Billiards. Then Sam runs to JT's aid when he is threatened by a poolhouse bully. He begins to feel inadequate and his dream about marrying Sam turns into a strange nightmare when Sam's machismo—and Rich's ribbing—get the best of JT. Meanwhile, Jean-Luc escorts a fearful Lilly to the doctor for a tetanus shot. Jean-Luc promises to be with her and hold her hand during the shot and she would get a lollipop afterwards. But Jean-Luc cut his hand and needs one, too. Jean-Luc and Lilly help each other be brave
135	July 4, 1997		Ain't Misbehavin'	Sam's hours are cut at work, and she loses her roommate. She, much to JT's dismay, chooses a male co-worker, Jamie, to be her roommate. JT is hesitant to trust them which is epitomised when he knocks down their front door. JT is finally relieved when Jamie's girlfriend becomes Sam's roommate (she did not like the idea much either). In the meantime, Jean-Luc owes $1,000 in back taxes and gets Carol to loan it to him. Carol had to take the money for her and Frank's weekend getaway to do it. She begins to get huge neck pains from the stress she had just watching Jean-Luc spend all his money on Babbette. When Carol tells Jean-Luc, he immediately comes up with a plausable solution.
136	July 11, 1997		The Facts of Life	Lilly sees Dana and Rich kissing, and proudly announces to Frank and Carol that Rich and Dana are going to have a baby. It becomes necessary that Lilly's parents tell her The Facts of Life. Lilly then shares her new wisdom during show and tell, which causes a conflict between Frank, Carol, and the parents of Lilly's best friend.They agree to overlook their differences for their children. After Jean-Luc tutors Al in French, he notices JT and Rich are into horse racing and helps them win some money. But when JT and Rich want to empty their college fund, Jean-Luc is forced to teach them an invaluable lesson about gambling.
137	July 18, 1997		Talkin' Trash	Frank buys Carol a birthday present that stresses security rather than romance. JT warns him, but he doesn't listen. Carol does not appear to be all that thrilled about it after getting jewelry and cashmere from Jean-Luc and the kids, respectively. Frank tries to make it up to her, but Carol believes the fact that he loves her and gave her the gift with that love was enough. Dana chooses a "brain" to team up with for the recycling contest rather than Rich. Rich, in order to get her back picked a "bimbo" cheerleader as his teammate. Rich really wants to show Dana he is not a "flyweight intellectual." He proves to Dana that creativity is just as important as book smarts (and wins!!).
138	July 25, 1997		Walk Like a Man	Mark's basketball team has made it to the championship. Frank, who is the coach, and Mark ban Carol from coming to the game. Carol takes it personally and with the help of Jean-Luc duisguises herself so she can go. She gives herself away, though, when she starts a fight with a fan who insults Mark. JT tells Rich that he lets Dana control the relationship, so Rich and JT go to a weekend party. Karen and Al coincidentally drag Dana to the same party. Rich pays a girl to dance with him (remember Barbie) so he won't look like a loser. Dana then dances with someone to make Rich jealous. They then get in a food fight, but realize it is JT's fault so the both throw food on him.
139	August 1, 1997		Shear Madness	Jean-Luc is asked to cut Hillary Clinton's hair and is so nervous he wants to decline the opportunity. He is finally able to decipher(through a conversation with Carol) that it all stems from his depression from his divorce. Frank disapproves of yet another of Al's dates. He then meets a guy just like him who he goes shopping with and sets up him up with Al. Al goes on a date with him, but afterward makes Frank agree to not interfere with her date life. She does, however, let him chase off a particularly bad date.
140	August 8, 1997		The Kissing Game	JT, Al, and Dana are having problems finding some privacy, when JT comes up with the idea to use Carol's new salon as a place for privacy. He, also, sells the key to some friends for the same purpose. They all want the salon at once though, so they end up just having a party. Carol tries to set up Jean-Luc with Julie. Jean-Luc messes up the barbeque and their clothes. He even sets his pants on fire. When he changes into Frank's clothes, He and Frank have a talk and Jean-Luc realizes if he wants to find the perfect one (like Carol is for Frank), he has to try. Frank and Carol go to get some take out while Jean-Luc and Julie stay and get to know each other. The restaurant Frank and Carol go to, happens to be right next to the salon, where they find a big party.
141	August 15, 1997		Bonjour, Jean-Luc	Carol comes back from Hair Spectacular '96 with Jean-Luc, who is to become her new business partner. As they start a new business, Frank has to do all the chores. He is happy to do them, but becomes very picky about his cookies. Jean-Luc does help out JT by teaching him how to dance, but JT's date is a disaster anyway. Jean-Luc tells Karen, Al, AND Dana, on separate occasions, that he thinks they are beautiful. Also, Lilly learns to write her name, and Cody calls from his new job in Russia. Note: This is where the audience finally finds out Cody is in Russia for a new job he aquired.

Rich is happy about getting a C on his pop quiz and Dana tells Rich that if he doesn't start taking something seriously, they don't have much of a future.So after talking to JT, Rich stays up all night studying (instead of watching Xena, the Warrior Princess with JT) and gets an A,while Dana only gets a B. JT raids the refrigerator,wearing his trenchcoat, Frank catches him, he hugs JT and the food squirts every where.
143	September 26, 1997		A Star is Born	After explaining to the guys the various virtues of getting the role in the next Jeremy Beck movie; Karen, Dana, and Al audition for the part. Karen and Dana are not quite what the producers want, but Al is just what they are looking for. Al also has great acting talent and does a fantastic job. She does so well that they rewrite the script to include her in another scene. Al loves it and decides to quit school and move to Hollywood. Frank and her agree that she can join the drama club and, if necessary, move to Hollywood afterward. Lilly is having a bake sale so she and Carol are making cookies. When Lilly's friend, Traci, and her mother make fun of the Lambert duo and their cookies. Carol takes it personally and makes a dessert that is loaded with alcohol that will knock the socks off of Traci and her mother's dessert. Then Lilly doesn't want to use it because she didn't help and they use the cookies after all.
144	October 3, 1997		Your Cheatin' Heart	Rich begins making stupid excuses for skipping out on Dana. Karen and Al convince Dana that he is cheating on her after they follow him to some girl's house. The three of them see Rich dancing with another woman. Dana barges in, but realizes that he is taking dance lessons to impress her. Frank and Carol are having trouble with distractions in their love life. Finally, they are able to get together for a distraction-free evening but are too sick to make it enjoyable.
145	October 10, 1997		Take This Job and ...	JT loses his fourth job of the month and cannot even afford a date with Sam. JT convinces Sam to get her boss to hire him as an apprentice mechanic at the place where she works. JT is terrible and Sam is forced to hire him on the second day after he nearly kills the boss, twice. JT is frustrated and angry, but the only sympathy he gets is from the people who lost the pool (of how many days he would last at this job). Carol advises JT to not lose Sam because he is too proud to say, "I'm sorry." After JT apologizes to Sam, he gets a job that he is a good at-- as a giant weiner. Meanwhile, Frank is delighted when he receives a dilapidated boat in lieu of payment on a job. He spends every free, waking hour fixing the boat. He annoys the whole family, and even though Carol supports him in front of the kids, she is concerned. Frank explains to Carol that his dream at one time was to buy a really nice boat and go sailing on the weekend. While he loved all seven kids, the only opportunity for a sailboat was one like the one he had.
146	October 17, 1997		Poetic Justice	Karen has a professor (actually a teaching assistant) try to date her by influencing her with grades. Karen tells Dana about her predicament. Dana has the perfect plan to catch Jason in his own deceitful web. While a battery that does not keep going and going causes a hitch, the plan does end up working. Mark's date comes in all her glory for a date with Mark. Actually, she is repulsive to Frank and Carol, a source of comedy to Rich and JT, and a shocking match for Mark to everybody. Mark stays out past curfew, is grounded, and runs off in Frank's truck with this girl.
147	October 24, 1997		Can't Buy Me Love	Karen and Dana are given invitations to pledge to a sorority, DTZ, known for their vanity and airheadedness. This seems to be a natural fit for Karen and seems to have no stipulations. Dana finds out, however, that they really want her (and her GPA) to join and will only let Karen join if she agrees. Frank does not have a job or any prospects of jobs. An acquaintance of Carol's from high school is building a new complex and Carol invites him over to try to convince him to allow Frank to work on it. He gives Frank a job but tries to pursue Carol. When he crosses the line, Frank quits, kicks him out of the house, and informs him what he can do with the gift.
148	October 31, 1997		Dream Lover	On Halloween, JT and his sisters host a costume party at a decrepit old mansion. During the party, it becomes obvious that JT and Sam aren't getting along, and after a mixup involving their costumes (they are forced to go tandem as a horse), she decides to dance with someone else. JT fumes about his predicament when he meets Abby, the ghostly 19-year-old inhabitant of the mansion who committed suicide after a bad breakup. Abby convinces JT that his relationship with Sam may have reached its end and that it is nobody's fault. In the end, he and Sam decide that it is best if they went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Lily hosts a Halloween party of her own for her friends. But when one of her buddies (dressed as the devil) scares her at the door, the daisy-outfitted tyke runs upstairs in fright, leaving Carol to comfort the 6-year-old child and convince her – successfully – that sometimes, it's fun to be scared. This lesson helps out later when Lilly must teach her friend about the fun behind scary movies. Teddy T-Rex (Frank) was the life of the party-- he fell down the stairs and was attacked by the kids. Note: At the party, Rich and Dana dress up as Ricky and Lucy Ricardo, paying homage to the two main characters from I Love Lucy. They reprise a frequent storyline where Lucy wants to be in the show, Ricky says no and Lucy cries. Note: Lilly dresses as a Sunflower.
149	November 7, 1997		Girls Just Wanna Have Fun	When Rich's former friend Cassie moves back to town, they enjoy playing billiards and video games together, so Dana asks J.T. to teach her how she can she can have fun like that with Rich. Meanwhile, Frank's con-man cousin Bert shows up.
150	December 5, 1997		Goodbye, Mr. Chip	Karen's boyfriend Chip takes Carol's advice to get some backbone and stand up to Karen, but he surprises everyone when breaks up with her. Karen is furious with her mother for interfering. In the meantime, Dana has better luck helping JT and Rich with a relationship problem of their own, with the use of her straight A in psychology - and sock puppets.
151	December 19, 1997		Too Many Santas	To earn extra money, Rich and J.T. take jobs as Santa Claus at the local department store. Lily instantly recognizes her brother as Santa, and concludes that Santa doesn't exist. To reassure his 5-year-old daughter, Frank - and just about everyone else, without consulting each other - dress as jolly ol' St. Nick and visit Lily. Meanwhile, J.T. pines for his former girlfriend Sam after finding a Christmas present that he bought for her back in July.
152	January 9, 1998		Phoney Business	Al takes a job as a model in a commercial she thinks is for suntan lotion. She is outraged when she sees the commercial airing on TV ... and its for a phone sex hotline. Al and J.T. pay a visit to the corrupt producer to make him admit the truth. Meanwhile, Carol and Dana try to force healthy food on the family after taking a nutrition class.
153	January 16, 1998		Goin' to the Chapel	Dana wants to take her relationship with Rich one step further, and gets into a big argument with Carol when she fears that Dana is planning to have sex. Carol forbids Dana from having sexual intercourse. So, she asks Rich if they can elope. Meanwhile, J.T. hopes to catch the eye of an aerobics instructor, so , J.T. pretends to be a fitness fanatic to impress a sexy aerobics instructor. But learns that being himself is a much better idea.
154	January 23, 1998		Feet of Clay	Rich and Dana enroll in a pottery class, but Dana has no talent and Rich does. Meanwhile, Carol and Frank's sexual role-playing make J.T. and Karen think Carol is dating another man.
155	January 30, 1998		Pain in the Class	Frank worries about his upcoming 25th class reunion, where he could run into his old nemesis. Meanwhile, J.T. is paying too much attention to watching TV and not enough to Lilly, who wants to play. When he grows tired of her whining, J.T. tells his sister to go outside and play, which she does ... and doesn't come home.
156	February 27, 1998		The Half Monty	J.T. and Rich want to go on a skiing trip, but are broke. So, they decide to take jobs as male strippers at a nightclub. Meanwhile, Frank and Carol counsel young couples by sharing their secrets, but may need counseling themselves when they reveal too much.
157	June 5, 1998		And Justice for Some	Frank acquires two tickets to the Bucks-Bulls game. He invites JT to go with him. They really enjoy the first half, but then a guy with a huge "Yosimite Sam" hat sits down right in front of JT. Frank agrees to switch seats with JT. Immediately following the switch, the seat JT is now is drawn and JT wins a brand new truck. Frank and JT spend two days arguing over who should get the truck. Finally, Carol arranges for them to meet a friend of hers who is a judge. Just before the judge rules Carol makes a speech on how their friendship should take precedence. They decide she is right and decide to sell the truck and split the profits. Karen and Al have no interest in Dana's self protection class-- until they see the instructor, that is. Upon seeing him, both girls attempt to win his heart, argue over him, and threaten each other's lives. A week after the class is over, both girls call 911 to have the instructor refresh their memory on a self-defense tip.

Frank and Carol's attempts to reason with Lily fail. Later, the yuppies return, they show their true colors, disgusting the Lamberts so much they decide to cancel the sale, much to the relief of Lily (and everyone else). Note: This wasn't origninally aired as the series finale, but due to faltering ratings the show was cancelled after this episode.
