Should we delete this list

Some people are selective they would like to see only lists of their own domination, what do u think does this list warrant deletion or should we let it stay?[1]--יודל 13:47, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WADL

Regarding WADL

We have a listener base that monitors this community site. The fact that you refused to list the correct programming or even the fact that this station has the only African American President or the fact that the programming has dramatically changed and they carry Chapelle. If you are going to edit , then do it with RESPONSIBILITY. A formal compalint has been registered with Wikipedia. On Tuesday the phone number to WIKIPEDIA Corporate will be aired on 11 radio stations in Detroit. We cannot allow you to hurt the URBAN community this way. This appears to be very malicious. when we look at the history , it states that you have verifiable information . You have not verified anything in the past 2 years. Block me if you want to. There are iver 20,000 people who as of Tuesday will protest that your site is not doing what it was designed to do. BE OBJECTIVE!

Could you please nominate the page for deletion on my part (I prefer to edit as an IP, so I can't go through the formal process)? It is basically the same as WP:CVU, and it is pretty much inactive (the new announcements bulletin's most recent addition is from Sept. 2006, for example. The page seems redundant to me, or it at least needs attention.--68.91.192.173 03:38, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove the information which make us problem

These type of information makes us serious problem of the student which are already passed from this informatin some of the information is not real. Please remove the information which make us problem. It’s need not focus. This is why who give this information please allow us to remove the other parts.

here in a first line of Others told "It was one of the 11 universities that went operational without University Grants Commission (UGC) approval which was made a necessity under the Private University Act (1992) in Bangladesh" but in a UGC website "http://www.ugc.gov.bd/traning.php" you can see the approval year 1996. so how it's real so, that kind of information makes us problem of the student of that university. this is why i try to remove that kind of information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bangla2007 (talkcontribs) 06:52, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Need your input

I have a Sandbox and today I found a bunch of editors adding items to it that I do not know about nor understand. [[2]] Would you please explain if I am doing something wrong? I use it for reminders and also to learn how to do things. I need the reminders do to my disabilities about retaining information. Something seems really wrong since most of what is written I don't know about, have not been involved in and so forth. Please check out my Sandbox for me. I am totally confused about all of this and it looks like there is going to be a complaint and a deletion of my Sandbox. You can find my original link on my user page. Thanks,--CrohnieGalTalk 12:59, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I had a quick look, but couldn't seen any edits by anyone else. Who has a problem with it and what did they say the problem was? It seems like it's your sandbox, so as long as there's nothing blatantly out of line on it, you should get to do what you want. Anyway, give me more background and I'll see if I can talk to them about it. Peace, delldot talk 17:11, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, it looked like I accidentally copied the stuff to my sandbox instead of the one reminder I was trying to put there. I deleted all the posts that didn't belong, I hope that's ok since I don't know how to archive and have a bot do it for me. Thanks and again sorry for wasting your time. --CrohnieGalTalk 19:08, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: alleged vandalism at Green Hornet

Just found your note responding to my request for help with the vandals---yes, vandals, although it may very well be one person using two computers---on the articles The Green Hornet and The Lone Ranger. You asked if I'm familiar with WP:3RR---I am and it's not relevant, as it specifies in no uncertain terms that it requires the reversions be made three times in one 24 hour period, and we've been going back and forth on an approximately daily basis. Once, I think, I did it twice in a single day, but I haven't paid attention to the logged dates/times of theirs and have no idea how many times they have done it twice within 24 hours. Maybe they did it thrice the one time I did it twice---the only time they could have, as no one but me has been putting them right this time around---but why warn me? Or was that "glimpse at the histories" (I assume you mean the edit summaries on the articles' history pages, but if you don't, please explain) too quick? Besides, how can you have taken such a glimpse and have failed to see the personal sarcasm and such in theirs which alone eliminates any possibility of good faith on their part, and hence any chance that it is merely a content dispute? To say nothing of their "forging" an administrator's "signature" to a "last warning" for vandalism on my Talk page? (Did the link to that not work? No, I checked it before I saved and it went right to the spot.) A "polite reminder" of anything to somebody who would do that is obviously a waste of time! Indeed, part of my posting pointed out that, given their recorded behavior, vandalism warnings posted on their talk pages would surely be disregarded if they came from me, as the rules implied they should. So it is vandalism, specifically, what Wikipedia rules call sneaky vandalism (I don't know the "code" to make the link take you to that sub-sub-section directly {assuming that there is one}, so you'll have to scroll down a little bit, unless you're willing to take my word for the following), and I quote: "...adding plausible misinformation....and some vandals even use the edit summary 'rv vandalism' to mask the change." This is precisely what is happening here, and what I described in detail. The name "Andy Reid" and the link made of it are absolutely, irrefutably wrong for the character under discussion in those articles, and can't be put up that many times in good faith. As I had stated, a previous "editor"'s insistence on putting it in back in February resulted in the GH article getting semi-protected status. I honestly cannot conceive how you can have so much as read my posting on WT:VAN fully and thought your response to be an appropriate one (this might be interpreted as a violation of civility rules, but I'd rather give you a chance to improve your performance on your own than file a complaint about you on the proper page on first offense, and letting this completely slide is not a viable option; I talk to you about this, or I talk about you to authorities, so fair enough?). I now ask for some relevant and usuable advice or other assistance, please. Thank you. Ted Watson 20:34, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My reply delldot talk 21:25, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just found your response to the above, and I see your point---while I said it couldn't do any good, posting polite messages on their talk pages couldn't hurt either, and would, as you put it, cover the bases. Good point, I'll try it, and thanks. As for sources, I have cassettes and CDs of actual broadcasts/episodes, 78 GH so far, plus one LR tape (sort of a montage of important events on Side 1, and the 25th anniversary episode on the reverse. Yeah, that's it, I'll cite the GH episode---title, original broadcast date (dare I assume Fran Striker wrote it? God knows who directed) and all---which made the connection explicit. Oh, yeah, also thanks for taking the criticism the way it was intended. Ted Watson 21:39, 9 September 2007 (UTC) QUICK UPDATE: They haven't reverted since yesterday (Saturday), when I mentioned in my summary the phony warning; maybe the fact that I figured that out scared them off. I just wanted to insure that you guys don't delete my internal reference link to addiction. I've played the game for 9 years plus and been an admin on it and they refuse to admit that their game is a source of addiction and people spend lots of money on donations (into the thousands). So I justify the internal link like this. If you wish to discuss it further I welcome it but I would hope it wouldn't be deleted by the people who made the game as this is a factual site. Xanax has to put up the side effects it causes why shouldn't these people get the same knowledge?

Hi, i wanted to let you know why I reverted your edit. The Israel of God are noted Black Hebrew Israelites in the United States who claim to be descendants of the ancient Israelites. They claim that blacks in Brazil, Madagascar, and the Caribbean, are also descended from the Israelites. About the Bulma Matter.

I'm sorry about this. I truly am. I mean, with it being considered for Deletion at this very moment, I was actually trying to shorten it and fix it up to fit with the guidelines. I did not intend to do ANY type of vandalism at any point. All I was actually trying to do is SAVE this article, and I don't think trying to go against the deletion on the discussion page will help. Your Edits to Health effects of tobacco smoking

Hey,

Good article to get involved with. However changing it to "there are none" isn't going to fly with these guys. Theres a group of about 4 guys (unfortunately including an admin) who protect the smoking related articles (smoking, Tobacco Smoking and Health effects of tobacco smoking with their lives. They refuse to allow any real fact to be added to these articles, and create consensus simply by ganging up on anyone who disagrees with them.

Instead of vandalizing the article (removing the article in that way will be seen as such) instead consider joining the discussion pages on these articles. Any help with Smokers Rights would also be appreciated.

Be very careful - they are attempting to have me banned for discussing the issue. Another way you could help would be to comment on the banning discussion at Wikipedia:Community sanction noticeboard (its the bottom discussion).

Anyway thanks for taking in interest in Human Rights. :) Naacats 04:21, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pesticide def.

Hi Delldot:

Ok please move my proposed def. down to the bottom of the talk page and we'll see what happens. I'll work on the refs. formatting, I remember seeing those instructions somewhere...

Maybe this private note is the place to ask this: there is a sentence at the bottom of the Introduction that says something like "many pesticides are toxic to humans", something like that. I find it jarring because it seems to have no purpose except (maybe) to establish a point of view? The statement is correct but many classes of substances have many members that are toxic to humans--solvents, medicines, detergents, even foods. Removing this (it's truth needs to be put in context, I think, and maybe clarified) would probably improve the overall sense of objectivty.

By the way I am going to put more info on my personal page so readers can get a clearer idea of who I am and where I come from...also, THANKS for your feedback, by the way, Wikipedia is really cool and an adventure but intimidating and your "hospitality" helps!
