Heart of Greed II (Chinese: 家好月圓) is a TVB drama in 2008. It is the sequel of 2007's award winning series, Heart of Greed.
Development
The series was successful enough to be commissioned another season. Lee Sze Kei presented on one of the 溏心Chatroom shows that the producers had already begun to write for another series with same actors but a different story line. Several details about the new series were leaked by the Media in October this year but Lau Kar Ho vowed to catch the person who leaked this information because little people know about the new series. The sales presentation clip was released on this year's sales presentation on November 19. The clip gave clues about the new series which will feature Michelle Yim as the new villain, a mooncake business instead of abalone and a new cast members, Kate Tsui, Lee Heung Kam and Wayne Lai.
On January 28 2008, the cast celebrated their kick-off in filming.
Story background
In the new series, it was said that Ha Yu and Lee Sze Kei will play a husband and wife once again, while Moses Chan and Raymond Lam will be their sons. Michelle Yim will be the villain who'll cruelly separate Lee Sze Kei from her husband and children. Lee Sze Kei then adopts a daughter in the form of Linda Chung to share her love with. Susanna Kwan plays Lee Sze Kei's sister who is another villain in disguise. The series will then focus on Lee Sze Kei getting her family back together in the background of mooncake business.
