Gam or Kam?
[edit]I think we need some sort of concensus. If my memory serves me right, Kam is the official. But of course, it can be debated. Dengero (talk) 08:00, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well I think Gam. Both the Cantonese and Mandarin way to say it is started with G. --Shaggy9872004 (talk) 08:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- Cantonese speaking, it's Gum. But on your ID Card, it says Kam instead of Gum. I think for wikipedia, we should use official spelling. Also Kwan should be replaced as Guan (君), Ive checked the ID Card of my mate to check spelling. Tosviolater (talk) 13:37, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hey Shaggy, Gam is NOT the pronounciation in proper. It should be Gum in proper. And when we are expressing NAMES, we should type in the following manner: chinese name, english name. But not "English Name" Chinese Name. I don't want to argue with you, if you would like to change it, change it. If not, forget about it. Tosviolater (talk) 13:02, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Heart of Greed II
[edit]Heart of Greed II is the correct title, plaese see: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/qbgGjDygxsw/ --Wargods (talk) 18:40, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- The official Chinese title name can be seen at the end of the video. The video was produced few days ago at the Shanghai Television Festival. --Wargods (talk) 18:49, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- They haven't finished filming yet and as you can clearly see, they just copy and pasted they of the sale presentation clip to it. SO we'd have to question the reliability. So for now, it should stay like this until official confirmation. Oh yeah and one more thing, if you look at the top of the television on the clip; there are only four words which would prove contradictory to the clip.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 22:06, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- The words at the top of the television got cut off, therefore it only showed the four words. I guess you want to see more evidences. Well, here they are: http://photocdn.sohu.com/20080611/Img257425951.jpg

You can clearly see the correct Chinese title on the tags and the microphone tags.--Wargods (talk) 22:46, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
The funny thing about this whole thing is that 溏心風暴之家好月圓 is the title TVB used during costume fitting. They never said they officially changed the title to 家好月圓. As you said, they haven't finished filming. Why do you assume the title is 家好月圓? The media called it 家好月圓 because it is the title that the actors and actresses use when they mention stuff about this drama. There must be something that influence you to make the changes, which I do not know of.--Wargods (talk) 23:10, 12 June 2008 (UTC)- When were these photos taken and where?--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 07:15, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Australia doesn't have TVB Jade
[edit]TVB Jade is only available in HK. The one in Australia is called TVBJ (翡翠衛星台). Both channels are different. Get your facts straight before you make changes, please.--Wargods (talk) 18:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- My mistake but isn't hard to be civil so be it please.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 22:01, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- It is not hard to do some research through Google on the changes that other people make. Making changes back and forth waste a lot of time.--Wargods (talk) 22:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't make the change back and forth. You did. You were the person who redirected Moonlight Resonance to Heart of Greed II. Forcing me to revert your edit. The revision I chose must have had TVB Jade on it.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 07:24, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

No. of Episodes
[edit]I think I can back up the anon's claims of 41 episodes. Apparently the last episode is hosted on a saterday to accomodate more viewers. Although in order to do this I expect them to somehow drag a whole episode out throughout the 40. Dengero (talk) 01:28, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, but i guess there is no hard source of proof yet on this issue.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 06:01, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- I guess, then again, it's hard to prove a lot of stuff in this world =) Dengero (talk) 06:12, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
First week rating
[edit]Shaggy9872004,
I hope this series can get high ratings too, but the peak for the first week is just 37, not 42. Where did you get the data? If you are familiar with the history of ratings, you should realize it's really rare that the gap between the average and the peak is as huge as 9 points. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.19.141 (talk) 20:14, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- This data was taken from singpao. 42 points only lasted for 1 minute and that's why it's in brackets. It's like last year's Heart of Greed, 40 average points, peak of 46 and at one minute 48.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 21:51, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Beijing Olympics?
[edit]Since there is no template for the bottom thing. I want to ask: Why does the Beijing Olympics spam between 8-24th August for the first line series but 18-22th August in the second? Bit weird. Dengero (talk) 08:50, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- The Olympics were on in between those times. It's simple. Hope that's answered your question.--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 09:05, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- As in, sometimes they occupied the second line AND the first line, sometimes it didn't? Also, Your Class or Mine ends on the 12th? What happens between the 12th and the 22nd when The Four starts? Dengero (talk) 11:18, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Prequel or Just an Indirect Sequel/Other Story?
[edit]First, in the beginning it said it is an indirect sequel (which is fair, since that it is the second "part" of Heart of Greed. However, soon it said it is a prequel. Reasons to change to sequel: 1. They have no storyline nor characters similar to the first or even a mention of Heart of Greed characters or an abalone buisness.
2. It is a contradiction with the beginning and "different storyline" Someone have to explain it and make up their mind, prequel or sequel or another story --Rider555 (talk) 04:31, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Rider555
Synopsis
[edit]This synopsis is way too detailed. Because this was a long drama how about shorten the synopsis and just fix the character section? Shouldn't we use names like Selina, Camie? That is easier for the synopsis. Benjwong (talk) 07:17, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's not so much the name's problem but more of the sentences describing the story in much too much detail. I also see a lot of bias put onto the last ten episodes and not enough in the first thirty. The characters section should be more detailed in contrast. On an unrelated note, I thionk we should start making small episodic summaries for the Moonlight Resonance List of episodes page and the same with Heart of Greed's list of episodes page. --Shaggy9872004 (talk) 07:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- I honestly don't remember the contents of each episode. So I don't think I can help you get it to that detail. However if you want to clean up the page so that it looks more like the Heart of Greed article, it can be done I think. The last 10 episodes are highly well written yea. Benjwong (talk) 02:50, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- Try watching it online on video sharing sites like Megavideo?--Shaggy9872004 (talk) 06:12, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
- I watched it beginning to end, but no way I remember all the little side plots. Some stories are just 1 episode long. Benjwong (talk) 06:42, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
