This is a list of notable awards and nominations for Lost. Lost, an American drama series, has aired on ABC since September 22, 2004. It has been nominated for a variety of different awards including 26 Primetime Emmy Awards (seven wins), 21 Teen Choice Awards, 19 Saturn Awards (five wins), nine Golden Reel Awards (two wins), eight Satellite Awards (one win), six Golden Globe Awards, (one win) and four Writers Guild of America Awards (one win), three Directors Guild of America Awards, two NAACP Image Awards (one win), two Screen Actors Guild Awards (one win) and a BAFTA Award. Amongst the wins for the series are a Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Drama Series", a Golden Globe Award for "Best Television Series - Drama" and a Screen Actors Guild Award for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series".

The series has an ensemble cast and several different Lost actors have received acting award nominations. Terry O'Quinn is the only actor to win an Emmy Award while Evangeline Lilly and Matthew Fox have each been nominated for eleven individual awards, the most of any cast members. "Pilot" is the most nominated single episode of the series, receiving nominations for fifteen different awards, winning six, including four Emmy Awards. "Through the Looking Glass" is the second most nominated episode, with eight.

As of March 2008, Lost has been nominated for over 100 different awards and has won 37.

Emmy Awards

In 2005, was nominated for twelve Primetime Emmy Awards and won six, including "Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series" for series co-creator J.J. Abrams and four Emmys for the pilot episode. The show also won "Outstanding Drama Series", which was considered a surprise win because the Emmys had rarely recognized science fiction or fantasy shows in the category.[1] The following year, the series was nominated for nine Emmys but failed to win any. Despite winning for "Outstanding Drama Series" the previous year, Lost was not nominated in the category in 2006. This was referenced in 2006 Emmy Award host Conan O'Brien's opening segment where he lands on an island with Jorge Garcia. O'Brien invites Garcia along but Garcia retorts "we weren't exactly invited," to which O'Brien responds: "but you won last year, nothing makes sense anymore!"[2] In 2007, Lost was nominated for six Emmys but again failed to gain a nomination for "Outstanding Drama Series".[3] Terry O'Quinn became the first Lost actor to win an Emmy Award, picking up a trophy for "Outstanding Supporting Actor - Drama Series" for his performance as John Locke in "The Man From Tallahassee".[4]
