New Section Added
- Charities John has supported
- Have also cleaned up the Discography section a little.
Kerrie Sherwood - 1st July 2006 - Happy Birthday John!!! :)
To do
- Discography - DVDs; compilations he has contributed to; EPs? (I'm thinking nah)
- Awards received...give the guy his props
- Should be a section about his acting/musical career
I cut this information because I couldn't verify it anywhere - are they CDs, tours, or what?
====1988==== * [[Jack's Back - The Live Comeback]] ====1989==== *John Farnham & The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - Classic Jack ====1990==== * Soul Deep (Jimmy Barnes) ==== 2003==== * [[Under The Big Top (Live from The Last Time Tour)]] *[[Live Anthems]]
Man, this still needs so much work... I have left comments in the tables, that you will see if you edit the page, about some of the things I'm not sure about (like if an album is actually a covers album - if so, should say so).

Long Way To the Top
Someone who knows about John may wish to edit the article Long Way To The Top, and get it included in this discography. Also, I'd love to read about the relationship between Farnham and the AC/DC song "Long way to the top". -- Mikeblas 22:18, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
Referencing...
This article is not too bad, but to improve it it would be better if specific facts were referenced to specific sources. --Robert Merkel 11:46, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Horse Farm
I've removed the horse farm link. Many months ago, the article mentioned John's involvement in the farm -- but that text is gone. I don't think the link belongs here unless the article discusses the subject. (And at the target webiste, I don't find mention of John's involvement.) -- Mikeblas 15:41, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Kidnapping
Why is there no mention of his having been kidnapped? JackofOz 04:47, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Was he kidnapped? Can you provide references? 144.53.251.2 01:42, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- No, I can't. It may just be an urban legend, but I swear I read some years ago that, during his early career he had been kidnapped for ransom. His family and the police chose not to make it public it at the time, and he was released unharmed. I have no idea whether any money changed hands, or what happened to the kidnappers. The incident was revealed in a later biography but by that stage it was no longer big news. Google seems to have nothing about this. Was I dreaming? -- JackofOz 01:52, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
opening paragraph is just weird
The opening paragraph should explain something about who or what John Farnham is. Instead, it links to "Olivia Newton-John, Kylie Minogue, Savage Garden, or The Seekers". That's just plain weird. --24.82.167.107 20:19, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
JC Superstar
Weird that there's no mention that he played the lead role in the 1992 production of Jesus Christ Superstar. 202.1.29.108 02:39, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Whispering Jack
I thought Delta Goodrem's Innocent Eyes beat the record set by Whispering Jack for the most weeks at Number 1. 144.53.251.2 01:41, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
POV tag
I removed the POV tag that was attached in Dec 2007, as there was no accompanying discussion as to what aspect was disputed. Manning (talk) 09:16, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Covered by David Archuleta on American Idol
Where would be an appropriate section to add that Archuleta covered "You're The Voice" on the March 25 American Idol episode? Genius00345 (talk) 03:49, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Never mind - just realized that JF did not write the song, nor was Archuleta performing his version. Genius00345 (talk) 03:50, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
