The Milwaukee Bonecrushers are a team of the Continental Indoor Football League scheduled to begin play in 2008. They will play their home games at the U.S. Cellular Arena, which the team is calling 'The BoneYard'.

This will be Milwaukee's second attempt at an indoor football franchise, the first since the Milwaukee Mustangs of the Arena Football League folded in 2001.

On October 23, 2007, the team announced that well-known Green Bay Packer Gilbert Brown (known as "The Gravedigger" among fans) had signed a three-year contract to be the team's inaugural head coach. [1]

As of April 8, 2008, Gilbert Brown resigned as head coach. General manager, Chris Kokalis as well as the team's offensive and defensive coordinators have also resigned. "On Monday evening, we made sweeping changes in the front office and brought in a new General Manager, Jordan Kopac, and a new coaching staff led by Michael Tumbleson. We would have liked our head coach, Gilbert Brown, to remain with the organization, but we respect his decision to resign. Many of the players have decided to quit.
