Group B

In a rematch of a game in the 2006 championship that needed three overtime periods to finish, the result was vastly different as Germany beat Angola by a 29-point margin.[3] In another 2006 championship rematch, Spain continued their mastery over the Greeks with another 15-point blowout.[4] On the nightcap game, China managed to hang on against the Americans in the first half but the "Redeem Team" pulled away at the second half to break the 100-point barrier.[5] The USA-China game drew a television audience of close to a billion viewers, eclipsing the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final's audience of 715 million.[6]
