Do you think 79.76.248.79 is another sock of Tile join? ~ Troy (talk) 00:14, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:Ajrocksalot inappropriately removed?

I apologize if you aren't the correct person to address this, if there's somewhere else I should be addressing this issue please let me know. As far as I can tell from this diff, the user was removed from the Administrator intervention against vandalism page inappropriately by the bot. Am I correct about this? I did not want to re-nominate the user in question incorrectly. Thanks in advance for your help.  -- BeezHive (talk|contribs) 13:39, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, I have added references on the Phun 2D Physics Sandbox page, that you marked for deletion. I would appreciate if you could review and respond. Best regards, Kenbon (talk) 16:24, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand and respect your point about verifiability, but it is not entirely easy to define 'what' needs to be verified in this case. There aren't really any claims made on the Phun page, more than that it exists (I'm mainly asking for my own education on this subject). I hope I don't have to verify that Phun 'exists'... The display at IDF is 'not' a press release. Intel choose a handful of applications they think represent "Inspiring Innovation". Though Intel isn't exactly Science coverage, they are in this case independent of the displayed applications. My point is that something displayed like this at IDF should be of enough public interest to have a wikipedia page. Another aspect is that the Phun video at Youtube is one of the highest rated and all time most watched in "Science and Technology", and while Youtube isn't at all a source for verification of anything (that I can think of), this at least shows that Phun is of great public interest. Thanks for the fix to the redirect at edu.au. Tired eyes at the wheel and all... we all suffer from it at times :) Cheers. -- Longhair\talk 12:00, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
