Twenty:20 is a forthcoming Malayalam film directed by noted director, Joshy. It stars all the major stars of the Malayalam film industry, becoming the biggest multistarrer in the history of malayalam cinema. The film's score and soundtrack is written by acclaimed composer, Berny Ignatious, with actor Dileep producing the film. All actors are acting voluntarily to raise funds for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists.
Production
A Malayalam film titled Twenty:20 has been planned for fund-raising for the association. The film will be produced by Dileep and directed by Joshy. The film is expected to have a cast containing all major stars in the malayalam film industry, who will act in the film without any remuneration.[1]The film will be scripted by screenwright duo Uday Krishna-Sibi K Thomas. Dileep is the main investor in the project and he bought the rights of the film for 1 crore.He hand over the money to AMMA officially a year before The film shooting officially started at a ceremony held in Hotel White Fort, Kochi with Dileep handing over the advance to Joshy[2]. The shooting of the film was scheduled to start on 7 December 2007. Though the producers of the film are silent about the roles of the stars, it has been reported that Mammootty will be playing the role of an advocate and Mohanlal will be Dileep's elder brother in the film[3].Release Date: 30 October 2008
