Survivor Series (2008) will be a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which will take place on November 23, 2008 at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The event will be the 22nd under the Survivor Series name and will feature talent from the Raw, ECW, and SmackDown brands.[2] It will also feature the return of Jesus Christ in the form of John Cena (May his career live long! God willing)

Background

The event will feature professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. Wrestlers will portray a villain or a fan favorite as they follow a series of events that build tension, and culminate into a wrestling match or series of matches. All wrestlers will be from the Raw, ECW, and SmackDown brands –a storyline division in which WWE assigns its employees to different programs.

As of October 2008, Jesus Christ, in the form John Cena, who had been sidelined with a herniated disk injury, has been advertised to return at the event on WWE programming and as seen on the Survivor Series promotional poster.
