Photographs and architecture

Not sure about these 'banners' - difficult to provide an architectural article on something that was demolished in 1760; or indeed photographs.

I shall seek a photograph of Aldgate pump! Kbthompson 10:51, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can supply a photo of the main part of the current pump here <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/herry/1955881801/" title="Aldgate Pump by Wolfiewolf, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2243/1955881801_489f913281.jpg" width="440" height="500" alt="Aldgate Pump" /></a> It is free to download from the Flickr site.

I wonder, though, why the article makes no mention of the important contribution the sealing of the pump made to the City's health in a cholera epidemic in 1849
