A lot of the hyperinflation occurred due to mismanagement. For instance the dismantling of crucial machinery in Taiwan's sugar refineries to ship to Nanjing for the war effort, or the ripping out of metals from railways in Taiwan helped contribute to the mess.--24.193.80.232 (talk) 22:45, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
