Hi CJ. Sorry if I am doing this wrong. I am not really a user. I am an actor and I have been reading the pages related to theatre. I saw your post on the Adelaide Repatory Theatre page and I think the discussion there is now being controlled by Paul Foord (who removes notability and deletion tags willy nilly) and a member of the theatre board, who obviously created the page to self-promote. I do not believe that the discussion is fair and balanced, or that everyone's views are being considered. As you are a member, I thought perhaps you could clarrify what Paul Foord is (and isn't) allowed to do. The page itself is highly questionable, and clearly biased, which a number of other visitors have tried to point out. (58.160.172.57 (talk) 01:42, 7 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

DYK

Updated DYK query On 30 April, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article National War Memorial (South Australia), which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Apologies

My editing on the Loose Women article identified vandalism in a previous version, I accidentally rollbacked to the vandalised version. This was not intended, sorry, I intended to rollback to the non vandalised section and only made a mistake. Douglasnicol (talk) 14:21, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. :)--cj | talk 15:09, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missed

Well, the title says it all really. I saw you reverting Jimbo's page a couple of weeks ago and thought "hey, CJ's back!", but then poof and you're gone again. I hope everything is going well in real life but don't completely forget us. :) Sarah 06:41, 14 June 2008 (UTC) P.S. You had the pleasure of missing Punk boi's attempt at being unbanned. I felt really bad for him but it had to be opposed. [1] He emailed me and told me he wanted to do it because ArbCom had rejected his appeal to them and I tried to talk him out of it but he went ahead anyway. Last time I looked at Simple he was talking about appealing directly to Jimmy! Sarah 06:46, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message Sarah; it's appreciated! I'm still drifting in and out, though I'll probably be more in for the time being. Still not fully back, but that's only because, yes, thing's are well otherwise! And I can't say I'm sad to have missed Nathan, but it's good to know you're still about to fight the good fight. Best wishes,--cj | talk 08:38, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed you are missed - I'll put that down for the record as well SatuSuro 06:57, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks also :)--cj | talk 08:38, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Anytime - I have been intruding on south australian territory quite extensively recently - even trying to grapple with possible references to the northern most part of the eyre highway in the past - 'ivy tanks' which i remember well from my youth - and recently discovered a close friend originally came from kimba - so the 'west' of sa is very much in my mind these days - having passed through last december and january this year SatuSuro 08:51, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Corina brouder

Hello CJ. Was it an advertising? --Efe (talk) 05:35, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In my view (presumably shared by the previous deletor), yes, a piece of blatant (self-)promotion. --cj | talk 05:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why a self-promotion? How it become such? --Efe (talk) 05:55, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In this instance, the creator appears to have been the subject, and the article appeared to exist solely to promote their self. If you'll excuse me, do you disagree with the deletion or are you seeking further information on speedy deletion criteria? If the latter, it would be better to avail yourself of WP:CSD. Thanks,--cj | talk 06:09, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am aware of WP:CSD. I think the subject has notability and therefore should not be deleted. In part of the editor, he/she must be forbidden to touch the article again per policy. --Efe (talk) 06:48, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adelaide city centre rename

Hi CJ can you please delete Adelaide_city_centre so Adelaide (suburb) can be moved back there. The rename was without much consultation and doesn't make much sense. See talk page. Thanks! Donama (talk) 03:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SPSC talk guidelines

Hi CJ, haven't seen you editing much lately. I was wondering if you could weigh in on this discussion here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:St_Peter%27s_College,_Adelaide#revisited. I suspect that the completely unverified allegations should be removed per WP:TALK, but I'm not sure how to interpret it. Would you mind making the call? Cheers, --Yeti Hunter (talk) 04:01, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Football (soccer)

The debate to rename the term football (soccer) to just simply "football" or "association football" has opened again.
