Gow/Crompton management
This is a debatable subject. Gow has funded Courtney's entire career from formula ford onwards. Where the confusion lies in this, however, is that Crompton discovered Courtney in his karting days and 'passed him on' to Alan Gow. I have good information that Crompton is his advisor in Aus., suitably because Mr. Gow resides in the UK and the time differences interfere.

- That sounds pretty much exactly like a co-management operation to me. Why the quibble? --Falcadore (talk) 07:24, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- Gow laid out the cash and made the big decisions. I would give him the credit where the credit is due, in my opinion.

- Laying out cash is what David Campese did for Mark Webber. Doesn't make him his manager. Makes him his patron maybe. Co-manager is the language the parties themselves appear to be using, why supersede their own terminology? --Falcadore (talk) 07:09, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Fair call. I will re-write with the aim of compromise and acknowledgment of all parties involved, and I will ensure that it is kept accurate, as per the guidlines of an ecyclopedia. Cheers! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.219.255.133 (talk) 08:53, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I have done a comprehensive re-write, but it will need some more fine tuning IMO. We could work together on this perhaps? --203.219.255.133 (talk) 09:12, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
