Request reason:

I have just been blocked but my IP is a shared IP adress which I share with an entire street block. All I was doing was adding links to pages in other wikis here in english wiki and all of a sudden i found myself banned. Please unblock me quickly!

Decline reason:

Unfortunatrely, in order to protect Wikipedia from vandalism, we need to block IP addresses knowing that it may affect innocent users. Some user with this IP address has been using multiple accounts to vandalize Wikipedia, and there's no way to distinguish you from this person. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 08:25, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What have they vandalised? Who are they? 86.89.146.118 (talk) 07:55, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2009

I blocked you. I didn't ban you. With that in mind, would you care to rephrase your question? --Geniac (talk) 21:54, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see three possible scenarios:
  1. If a blocked user creates a new account and admits they are a sockpuppet of the blocked user then yes, that account will also be blocked.
  2. If a blocked user creates a new account, doesn't admit to being a sockpuppet, but displays a very similar editing pattern to a blocked user, other users will probably notice it and that new account will most likely end up being blocked.
  3. If a blocked user creates a new account, doesn't admit to being a sockpuppet, and edits different articles to the blocked user and in a constructive manner, nobody will supect them of being a sockpuppet.
--Geniac (talk) 21:16, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And scenario 2 applied here... Fram (talk) 12:18, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. I did not create any new account. All I did was editing from this IP adress - which happened to be used by other accounts. I was doing (more or less) constructive edits. I was not vandalising anything. I even rv vandalism. Then you banned me while I was working on the article on Van Rossum. Why did you remove the sources I added to the Van Rossum article? He is mentioned in the books I mentioned in the ref list... 86.89.146.118 (talk) 12:34, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This IP may be used by other accounts as well, but it has been used by you for more than a year now (and of course, if you are going to hide behind the "other users", how do we know that e.g. the May 11 vandalism revert is actually done by you?). You have a histry of starting with constructive edits and then inserting sneaky and blatant vandalism inbetween, (one such edit already had to be reversed), and spamming your favourite topics everywhere (which you were already doing again as well). Same topics, same behaviour, all this from an editor blocked long term by different admins on different accounts and IP addresses: it wouldn't be very sensible to wait until the your more extreme forms of vandalism start again before blocking you. If you want to be unblocked and free to edit again, you can ask for an unblock on your main account. One of the conditions for such an unblock, apart from drastically different behaviour, will be the disclosure of all your sock accounts, both the blocked ones and the not yet blocked ones like User:Borkumer. Anyone uninvolved wanting a basic crash course on this user can start with Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Kermanshahi. Fram (talk) 13:00, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

remember that there are over 700,000 frisians, so... 86.89.146.118 (talk) 13:14, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009 block

Just like your other IP address, this one now has also been blocked for a year, since you are still evading your block, bold guy. For everyone without the necessary background: this is the Pier Gerlofs Donia vandal, blocked longterm on multiple accounts. Fram (talk) 07:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. You may also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list instead, or mail unblock-en-l@mail.wikimedia.org.
