Aljur Guiang Abrenica (born on March 24, 1990 in Angeles City, Pampanga) is a Filipino actor.
Biography and Career
He was raised in Angeles City, Pampanga and attended Don Bosco Academy for high school. In 2006, he joined reality-based talent search show, StarStruck, where he won the "Ultimate Hunk" title. As of September 1, 2007, Aljur Abrenica is a Regal Films contract star.[1] Abrenica had a biggest primetime break as Cervano/Zaido in Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan. He is paired with Kris Bernal, whom he is currently dating, in other GMA shows like Zaido, Dyesebel and Boys Nxt Door. He was recently seen in Luna Mystica as Libado and on the weekly noontime variety show, SOP Rules. He is also named Yes Magazine's Next Big Male Star.
Currently, Aljur plays "Miguelito Sanchez" in the afternoon drama, "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" where he is paired with Kris Bernal for the forever time lovelife. This is Aljur's biggest break. Many critics are saying that Aljur is one of the most gifted & talented actors of his generation, he can act, sing, dance, play an instrument, host & even write his own songs.
Kahit malakas ang ulan ng hapon ng Linggo, May 31, natuloy ang story conference ng pinakabagong Telebabad soap na pagbibidahan ng tambalang Aljur Abrenica at Kris Bernal sa bagong building ng GMA Network.
At press time, wala pa ring final title ang soap ngunit may working title na itong All My Life for presentation purposes. Ang sigurado, ang magiging theme song ng soap na "Friend of Mine" na una ring na-suggest na titulo ng show at si Aiza Seguerra ang natokang kumanta nito.
