Pamela Joan Rogers (Turner) (born 1977) is a former elementary school physical education teacher and coach in Tennessee who gained notoriety for having a sexual relationship with a 13 year old boy, who was one of her students in Centertown Elementary School, Tennessee, she pleaded guilty to 4 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Criminal prosecution

Pamela Rogers was charged with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape in February 4 2005, for having a 3 months sexual relationship with a teenage boy. She was arrested and freed on a $50,000 bail.

During the three month relationship, Rogers and the teen had intercourse and oral sex more than a dozen times, in the school, in her house and in the teen's house.

Rogers, who was a friend of the teen's family, plead no contest to 4 charges of sexual battery by an authority figure on August 12 2005, as part of a deal with the prosecution.

She was sentenced to serve a 270-day (about 9 months) term in the Warren County jail in Tennessee, and 7 years and 3 months of probation during an 8-year suspended sentence, and will have to register as a sex offender. She also surrendered her state teaching certificate for life.

The sentence prohibits her from profiting from the case, including books and movies and does not allow interviews.

She initially pleaded not guilty when originally charged with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape.

Personal life

In 1997, she was Ms. Monday Nitro in World Championship Wrestling at Spring Break festivities.

She was married to Christopher Turner, a High School coach, since 2003. He filed for divorce in January, the time of her indictment. They had been separated since 2004 and the divorce was not in reaction to the charges pending.
