Dill Mill Gayye (also known as DMG) is an Indian television series that airs on STAR One channel from every Monday - Friday at 8:30PM IST. It is the sequel of the television series Sanjivani, which aired on STAR Plus channel. Dill Mill Gayye is a show aimed at urban educated youth. The series is set in "Sanjeevani Hospital", dealing with the lives of young & inexperienced doctors.It is a semi-sequel to Sanjivani.

Main characters

Dr Shashank Gupta Played by Mohnish Behl
One of the characters to return from the prequel Sanjivani . He is head of Sanjeevani Hospital and father of Riddhima and Anjali.

Dr. Riddhima Gupta Originally Played by Shilpa Anand replaced by Sukirti Kandpal
who is now replaced by Jennifer Winget a 21 year old who is a shy and quiet person. She tends to be bossed around by her older sister and never says no to anything her sister says. She falls in love with Armaan, who before was her enemy, since their personalities clashed.

Dr. Armaan Mallik Played by Karan Singh Grover
22 year old Armaan represents the new age man; one who is self confident, efficient, cheeky,and occasionally even smug. His personality changes from this to kind, caring, and loyal after he falls in love with Riddhima. He has recently lost his memory, indefinitely and has no memory of his relationship with Riddhima, for the past two years.

Dr. Anjali Gupta Played by Sunaina Gulia
Anjali at 22, she's Shashank's older daughter and is used to having her way. Extremely beautiful, she is quiet conscious of her looks, and her mind works more as a money making, selfish business woman than a kind, lovable and caring doctor (like Riddhima).

Dr. Atul Joshi Played by Pankit Thakker
Atul is the best guy friend a girl can ever have, without ever making him a real boyfriend. He loves songs and later falls in love with Anjali.

Dr. Sapna Shah Played by Muskaan Mehani
A Gujrathi girl, whos mother is determined to get Sapna married and settled. She left the popular soap in late January , 2008.

Dr. Rahul Garewal Played by Mayank Anand
He is a smart, once nerdy doctor. He joined the show later on in the show, he was in Armaans college, and was bullied by him.He and Muskaan love each other. He decides to leave Sanjeevani and break up with Muskaan because he cannot become a father.

Dr. Muskaan Chadda Played by Drashti Dhami
Muskaan is a typical, Punjabi chatter box which is very entertaining. Loves Rahul very much.

Dr Nikita Malhotra Played by Shweta Gulati
Nikita is the new, intern in Sanjeevani. She is Armaan's best friends from College. She falls in love with the new head of hospital - Dr. Abhimanyu Modi.

Dr. Abhimanyu Modi Played by Amit Tandon
Dr. Abhimanyu Modi is now in charge of Sanjeevani. He is strict and ruthless. He falls in love with Nikita.

Plot

This is the story of Sanjeevani and 8 Interns which later become 7.In the beggining we are just being introduced to 5 Interns.They are Armaan, Riddhima, Atul, Anjali& Sapna.They are the new Interns of Sanjeevani.The Head Doctor of Sanjeevani is Dr.Shasahnk Gupta.The Senior Doctors are Dr.Shubhanker& Dr.Keerthi.In The Beginning Armaan and Riddhima are being introduced to us.On The Particular Day Riddhima goes for jogging.In the middle she stops at the Basket Ball Court to tie her shoe lace.In the Basket Ball Court Armaan & some other boys are playing Basketball.The Ball mistakely dash in the head of Riddhima and Riddhima turns.Armaan without saying a sorry ask's her to return the ball.
