Welcome!
Hello, Zaxby, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome! -- The Red Pen of Doom 04:56, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
August 2009
Hi. As a courtesy to other users and editors of baseball articles, please update all statistics in the infobox of Major League Baseball player articles, as well as the date. This way, other editors know when the statistics are current or if they need to be updated. Only updating one or two statistics or not changing the date, such as you did to Ryan Howard, makes the information unverifiable and incorrect. If you have any questions, please let me know by leaving a message on my talk page. Thanks! KV5 (Talk • Phils) 12:22, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Please communicate using talk pages, not edit summaries. I have other things to do besides clean up other people's messes. If you do it right, then no one has to worry about it. KV5 (Talk • Phils) 15:14, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- It's your responsibility to make sure your edits are verifiably correct, not my responsibility to do your fact-checking for you. KV5 (Talk • Phils) 15:19, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
MfD nomination of User:Zaxby
User:Zaxby, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Zaxby and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Zaxby during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Deor (talk) 14:32, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Special:Export
You can export your page by going to Special:Export and typing in User:Zaxby in the large box. If you want the entire history of the page, you can uncheck the first box. There are many wiki sites which would host your userpage, Wikipedia:Alternative_outlets#Directory_of_alternatives. Although they probably don't allow you to import your page, but you could ask someone on those pages to upload the information for you.
I know how tramatic it can be to lose your work on wikipedia, I hope this helps. Ikip (talk) 20:42, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Sourcing
For one thing, it's better to go to the original article rather than the potted Fox News report. But this stuff really shouldn't be included in the article until it can be sourced from the book itself (which is supposed to be published today, I believe). Secondhand accounts by journalists may or may not accurately reflect what the book actually says. Deor (talk) 14:32, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Administrator's Noticeboard
Hello, Zaxby. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding Sockpuppetry. The thread is User:Zaxby again, now possible sockpuppetry. Thank you. --IIIVIX (Talk) 02:31, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletions
Please use the templates at WP:CSD when tagging articles you think meets the criteria for speedy deletion. The {{mfd}} template is not supposed to be used for articles but for other pages (like those starting with "Wikipedia:" and whatnot). Thank you, MuZemike 03:21, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
"District 9" character name change?
Not sure why you undid my edit to the District 9 article...the character currently named Mumbo in the writeup is, in fact, named Obesandjo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by N1ckFG (talk • contribs) 03:40, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
I suggest you slow down
I also suggest you concern yourself with more pressing concerns, such the current discussion of your account and behaviour at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:Zaxby again, now possible sockpuppetry. IIIVIX (Talk) 03:49, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- Template:mfd is useless if you do not bother to fill out the deletion entry, which you never attempted to do. You clearly are not reading instructions and do not know what you are doing, either because you're in such a hurry to revert edits or some other reason. You also have made no attempt to renominate the user page for deletion.
Source?
I don't understand. What source? A source that confirms that a civil war in Ingushetia is taking place? Well in that case you should question the existence of the article itself and not me putting a link to the related articles section. IJK_Principle (talk) 02:29, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- Erm, what? You speak on behalf of the whole Wikipedia? Who are you? Some sort of überadmin? Also what do you mean by providing references? I'm putting a link to another article on Wikipedia, not stating something that is not sourced/referenced. If you have a problem with the "Civil war in Ingushetia" article, you should put a tag there instead of deleting my link. I also see you have been accused of violating Wikipedia policies, you better not be a vandal. IJK_Principle (talk) 02:39, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Learn the basics
The {{MfD}} tag is for use on stuff outside the (article) namespace. To get rid of Robert d. neace, you use {{db}}, {{prod}} or {{AfD}} as appropriate. In the case of MfD and AfD you must also create a discussion page and add it to the appropriate discussion list. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 02:45, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
i was told an edit i made was not of wiki quality
you sent me an edit saying an edit i mean was not of wiki quality, but didnt say what it was or why. Largoss (talk) 04:05, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
If the page u sent in ur response was the page in question, I've never edited it. And the only page I've edited in the last few minutes was powerfuff girls, and it was because a few sentances were unsourced and OR.Largoss (talk) 04:10, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I was actually trying to delete the sugar thing. It was there before I started editing. Other parts seemed OR so i might have left it but I wanted to cut it myself. Pure speculation on someones part.Largoss (talk) 04:13, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Just read the history. No it said it was in the section before I added it, and when it showed my edit, it wasnt there.Largoss (talk) 04:27, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I concur with Largoss, his edit was not vandalism. Nick Wilson (talk) 01:20, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Christopher Dale Pratt
No. I didn't, of course not.
It's "Chzz".
Thanks for concern.

Throwing a Grable
Hi! I've removed your {{nonsense}} tag from Throwing a Grable, because the page is in plain English, not incoherent text or gibberish, and therefore does not meet the G1 criterion for speedy deletion. Regards, Jafeluv (talk) 01:17, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank You!
Dear Zaxby!
Thank you for your information!
I understand.
And I can also state that all the infromation for the page I created is strictly objectve, not a word of subjective thoughts. I was very cautious. ONLY facts: awards, plyas directed and citing theatre revies.
Please let me know how to proseed.
And thank you again for you kind help!!! DvornicsekDvornicsek (talk) 01:20, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
fuel economy in automobiles 2009-08-20T11:07:54
Hi Zaxby you're right, there were some shockers, sorry. Would you support my expansion of "fuel economy" vs "fuel consumption" if I fixed them? cheers Adam —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamtester (talk • contribs) 01:42, 20 August 2009 (UTC) Thanks, but I should point out that I'm not a good editor - while I am a thoughtful and well-researched editor, I'm an infrequent Wikipedia editor, so I'm unfamiliar with the conventions and tools (like signing comments!) Welcome template
If you are going to continue to welcome new editors, I recommend you use a template such as Template:Welcome. This will make the welcomes consistent and spelled correctly. And what makes Wikipedia a palace in your greeting? Alanraywiki (talk) 02:04, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- I second this, please stop putting "Welcome to you're palace" on new users' talk pages. If you want to welcome new editors use {{welcome}}. (and btw it's YOUR not YOU'RE) -- Ϫ 02:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

A polite no
I'm coming up with my own greetings. The traditional welcome is getting boring.(Zaxby (talk) 02:54, 20 August 2009 (UTC))
- Have you seen Wikipedia:Welcoming committee/Welcome templates/Table? There's a lot more than just the one welcome template. And frankly, they're all better than "Welcome to you're palace". -- Ϫ 02:57, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- Then that wouldn't be original would it?(Zaxby (talk) 03:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC))
- Your need to be original isn't helping Wikipedia. Your greeting with it's bad grammar and terseness only serves to turn potentially good editors away, and we need all the good editors we can get. (and please stop replying at my talkpage, keep the discussion cohesive) -- Ϫ 03:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've been doing the best job patrolling recent changes than any other editor these past few days. I've had more vandals reported to AAIV or whatever it is for inappropriate actions. That makes me a good editor.(Zaxby (talk) 03:12, 20 August 2009 (UTC))
- Best in whose mind? You've incorrectly reported numerous people mistakenly over the past few days. Watching over the recent additions list does not make you a good editor. You seem to suffer from a problem of listening to editors who actually know what they are doing, you've been told repeatedly that you are causing more harm than good and that you need to fix things, only for you to blank your talk page and act childish. Originality is useless if it's not done correctly. IIIVIX (Talk) 03:13, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
