- To this point, my contributions to Wikipedia have been concentrated in the areas of language cleanup and damage reversion (whether the damage is in good faith or intentional vandalism). While I currently use Twinkle, I believe the Rollback priv would be helpful from time to time. Please do advise, though, if you feel my request is premature (I only have a couple hundred edits). Thank you! UncleBubba (Talk) 23:32, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- I use reverts on a daily basis as an RC Patroller, would like this to help simplify the process. Thanks!; -Pavel (Paul) (talk) 19:29, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
While I'm still here, please consider the fact that I have previously edited for two years and a great many reverts under a compromised account which I put up for indefinite full block, Iceman444k. Please check it's history before saying II have too little experience. Thanks again! -Pavel (Paul) (talk) 19:47, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, by compromised, I mean I had edited under it for the full run of it's life before it was compromised, I did not piggyback off of another editor's account. Just to clarify.

- I might recommend asking User:Hiberniantears as that was the sysop who declined your request two weeks ago. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 02:40, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- Although I like to make sure to use clear edit summaries, there are times when vandalism is so obvious that there's nothing else that needs to be said. In cases like this, it would be useful to be able to revert with one click. I'm often checking my watchlist in between classes or at other times where I just have a few minutes. The less time spent on undoing the vandalism, the more time is available to make a helpful warning post on the user's talk page. If I were given this ability, I would still generally use the regular "undo" function so that I could provide a fuller edit summary; this would just be another option to have available. Thanks for your consideration. Princess Lirin (talk) 22:41, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- Request rollback perm. I've been mainly contributing in the form of vandalism reverts, and have been using Twinkle; ability to rollback should be another useful tool. I've been out of circulation for a while; if the admins want me to put some more time in before granting a request like this, I'm happy to oblige. Rubicon | Talk 18:19, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Done No, I think we'd rather you just cracked on with the tool rather than waiting :) Pedro : Chat 20:38, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- Need to use for editing and I often revert edits, but lately plenty of obvious vandalism is being carried out, it's becoming a tiring task of using the Undo tool and comparing different versions, so this is just what I need to prevent vandalism more effectively and what many other users need too. Bozo33 (talk) 17:04, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not done You have made ten edits this calendar year, only have 54 edits total, and don't appear to have ever made a vandalism revert, plus you just copied the rationale from someone else. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 17:42, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- If you wish to become involved in fighting vandalism, there are several different tools available to assist you, including Twinkle, the standard "undo" feature, and Popups. Immunize (talk) 20:32, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- Not done Going back a month I see maybe one or two edits that could've been vandalism reverts, but that's it - the rest just seem to be content issues, so I don't see a need for this. Plus, edit summaries like this one raise an eyebrow. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 17:40, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- Much of my editing involves deleting vandalism. It appears that vandals are growing more sophisticated in vandalizing over several edits, making deletion more difficult. THD3 (talk) 14:17, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not done Going back over a month, I see lots of undos, but with rare exception, all of them aren't straight up vandalism - the kind of thing rollback is appropriate for. Since you say that a lot of your editing is reverting vandalism, I'm not convinced this wouldn't be used inappropriately. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 17:45, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

- I have experience finding and fighting vandalism and am good at staying out of content disputes. I would like to be able to fight vandalism more quickly so I can work on article quality. Rin tin tin (talk) 01:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not done You've only made about a dozen reverts, and all those just prior to this request. Take some time to do a bunch more - we usually like to see a consistent, continued effort so we can assess appropriately - especially since it's only been about 2.5 weeks since your block ended. The ones so far look good though! ~ Amory (u • t • c) 04:11, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

- Not done I'm sorry, but you don't seem to warn after reverts in most cases. May I suggest you use a tool like WP:TWINKLE which opens up the talk page of the user and allows you to warn quickly and efficiently? Remember if you don't warn 'em, they may continue to vandalize for a lot longer than if you properly follow the 4 stages of warning and eventual report to WP:AIV if they do not desist.
