Fast Five (also known as The Fast and the Furious 5)

Plot

Work in progress > Urban realism >

Media constabulary convergence

Two (2) photographers from the Daily Sun were arrested in the capital of San Juan by the district's municipal police for interrupting the road production of movie shoot for the upcoming film Fast and Furious 5 being filmed in the island of Puerto Rico. Both of them were handcuffed and taken to the Rio Piedras precinct when one of the delinquents climbed on the rooftop of a hybrid convertible vehicle with the aforethought of getting a better angle from his camera. The officers denied them access to a lawyer and confiscated their cameras during their assignment. They were found guilty by the local government of Puerto Rico and released under bail. [1]

National sustainable support

The Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce recently reiterated his support for producing movies in Puerto Rico to stimulate the local film industry after the filming success of Johnny Depp's The Rum Diary and Steven Soderbergh's Benicio del Toro biographical film: we are proud that Puerto Rico is a competitive and prime destination for the cinema industry and we will continue to promote the benefits that Puerto Rico has to offer to the film industry, including our natural resources, economic incentives, infrastructure and highly qualified crews.[2][3]

Local press context

Week two (2) of filming

On the day of the opening ceremony of July 17, 2010, extremely high wind weather (natural interruption) on the west coast region of Puerto Rico caused a waterspout (or tornado over water) to form and provoke physical mental vitiation on the 2010 summer olympics. Police units, local and state emergency vehicles and paramedics quickly responded to the alert and within minutes had the situation under control. It was determined to move the opening ceremony to the next day, July 18.[4] [5] [6] [7]

On July 19, the Governor of Puerto Rico signs three energy bills to reduce the island's dependence on oil and cut energy costs: (1) the Law for Energy Diversification by Means of Sustainable Renewable Energy (2) Renewable Energy Certificates and (3) the Energy Tax Incentives Act of Green Puerto Rico.[8][9]

Green viral manifesto

Blueprints were found at the main offices of Caribbean Business as to viral campaign regarding one (brain soul maternal mother) youtube-facebook linked account discovered by Kevin Mead, and one DRM-free iTunes Plus track titled Uncontrolled Facts from the minister of arts & entertainment in one of the film's set production locations @ De Diego Avenue (next to the Art Museum) - - July 19[10]

Using Aperture, and (either or) Final Cut Pro & iMovie, film directors will have the opportunity of visually redesigning one (1) of the forty-one (41) sectors located in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's a new Video Rendering Contest with the objective of promoting urban sustainability and saving a future park from artificial extinction. The name of this movie (not yet released) will utilize the song In your Silent Face as background music and the film will be titled Uncontrolled Facts.[11]

Production

On March 2010, producer Neal H. Moritz revealed in an interview that Fast Five will film this summer in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and Atlanta. He also stated that the sixth installment of the series is also being developed, but both films will not be shot back-to-back.[12]

Development and filming

A sequel to be entitled Fast Five is to star Vin Diesel, Sung Kang[13], Paul Walker, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, TJ Hassan, Don Omar, Tego Calderon and Ludacris. Chris Morgan and Justin Lin will also return as writer and director, respectively. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has signed on to Fast Five to reportedly play a lawman in pursuit of the two main characters.[14] Tyrese Gibson will also return as Roman Pearce from the second film.[15] Gibson was approached to appear in the fourth film but was unable due to scheduling conflicts. On April 2009, Walker said: "I've spoken with executives at Universal at this point and they're pretty serious about it. They’re developing it. They know where they want it to take place. They want to do it in Europe."[16][17] Ludacris announced that he had traveled to Puerto Rico to be in the film.[18]
