Characters` surnames?
Has Rick Riordan revealed the new character`s surnames? I haven`t read the first two chapters yet, so I don`t know yet. (I`m actually planning to wait to when the books come out to read it). If anyone knows the surnames of these charaters, feel free to add it to the article. Alec scheat (talk) 12:39, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
- No, the surnames haven't been revealed yet. I believe we'll only know about them after release. And cross whatever you saw earlier, PJTF is here to help.-Mktsay123 (talk) 16:14, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think that we should not mention anything about the characters` surnames or who their parents are, until the book is released. By doing that, it saves us from having to edit out original research. ~ Alec scheat (talk) 06:03, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Should it be mentioned that Jason names things in Roman rather than Greek? 134.192.134.191 (talk) 20:46, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Anonymous
The new characters full names are: Jason Grace, Piper McLean, and Leo Valdez. Hope that helps! Yoshi0333 (talk) 04:21, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Plot summary
I`m actually finding the summary a bit too long. How about shortening it? Any thoughts about it? ~ Alec scheat (talk) 03:53, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, it is too long for a two chapter summary. Also, it contains a play-by-play feel, so it has to be rewritten if we are to push this article towards higher classes in the future. -Mktsay123 (talk) 10:37, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- To be honest, most of it will be rewritten when the book comes out. For now, I think it will do. ~ Alec scheat (talk) 00:47, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Is the part about Hera being captured true or false? (I haven't read the preview yet) --173.25.106.202 (talk) 15:21, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
I doubt its true, cuz I read the fist two chapters, and Hera isnt even mentioned, and wouldnt they have to go on a quest to find Percy??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.63.193 (talk) 22:08, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Thinking about it, it's probably False, why would the tile be "The Lost Hero" if it's about Hera? --173.25.106.202 (talk) 22:44, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I had to remove the references that went along with that part as it was a dead link. I haven`t actually read the preview yet, so I`m don`t know if its true or not, but in my opinion, the fact that it came with a dead link gives my the feeling that its not true. ~ Alec scheat (talk) 05:49, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
I was just rereading the end of the two chapters on Camphalfblood.com and I noticed it said that two teenagers were in the chariot. I think someone should add that for Annabeth, that she is a teenager a few years older that Jason. So that means shes probably 17 or 18 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.63.193 (talk) 20:37, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
- I don`t know if its be announced yet how long has past since the last book. I wouldn`t add anything about age until the book comes out. Alec scheat (talk) 03:31, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Ok, but in the book it does say shes a teenager —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.170.63.193 (talk) 23:42, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Percy is the Lost Hero. In Chapter two, Annabeth says he is missing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.97.235.14 (talk) 17:09, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! By the way, I am Perseus, Son of Zeus! I'm new to Wikipedia, so please bear with me. At the time of this post, the book has been released and I'm about halfway through it at this point. Looking at the current Plot Summary, I believe it needs to be greatly updated now that the rest of the plot has been revealed. I was thinking about changing it when I have finished the book. Has anyone else gotten it yet? Please let me know so the Plot Summary can be updated. Yoshi0333 (talk) 06:27, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
I agree. It's too beginning-second for a middle-the end. Too, well, detailed for the beginning. It hasn't said the end. I have the book. 173.49.140.141 (talk) 17:42, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
In my account, I am giving this plot summary a MAKEOVER! Keep the first paragraph. 173.49.140.141 (talk) 18:00, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Hello again. I just finished the book. I realize that even though I won't be able to edit this section directly (far too much stuff on my hands) I am willing to answer any questions asked by someone else who is working on a revision to this section. I'll answer your questions to the best of my abilities. Thanks in advance! Yoshi0333 (talk) 04:36, 15 October 2010 (UTC) hey can someone write more of the plot and the end of the story
