Didn't know I should explain the "why" of the edit --- although in fact the reason was *in the text* which I had inserted. Anyway, seems a good system. Whenever I try to write that in the edit summary, I have to check the history remeber the usernames, go to the EDIT THIS PAGE button and fill in the edit summary. By then, someone else has already reverted the vandalism/spam/whatever. I've had to resort to writing rv vandalism in the edit summary for the time being. Is there a way to do it faster, like typing in something into the edit summary and it turns into something else (like userboxes or warnings?) Hi Sango123, thanks for the welcome. I want upload an image (of a babylonian tablet) to Babylonian mathematics, the photo is here. I have e-mailed the copyright owner and he said I could put it up if I mentioned him and put a link the original image site. I assume that the Fair use template would be suitable, but this isn't an option on the upload image page. Selecting 'found the image somewhere' sounds a bit like 'I can't be bothered to do this properly', so could you advise me on the best course of action?
