Thank you for the insight. I've left a query on your talk page, in case you might be able to help point me closer to the problem, as i have no idea what you are referring to at this time. Thanks! 174.74.68.103 (talk) 23:18, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize. You seem to have been the one who corrected the problem, not the one who caused it. The edit was on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill page. The people who vandalize sometimes don't get warnings, so I help out in that way. This was not obvious vandalism but just a disagreement, and you appeared to be on the right side.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 17:31, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wait. I actually went further back in that article's history to look at the vandalism. It's fun. After further checking of your history, this is the edit in question. I see you were warned and deleted the warning. I thought it was an edit that violated WP:POV. But most of your edits seem to be fine so it's no big deal.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 17:37, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I figured you were speaking of an edit you reverted. You are right, the "violation" was a mistake which is why I removed it from my talk page, but it seems to follow me anyway. Thanks for the response. 174.74.68.103 (talk) 11:53, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  1. According to the context, it appears that she said it was silly because it was uncited.
  2. You keep saying "it was an admin who did it". So what? It was based on her personal opinion, not an official policy. Do you realize I am an admin too?
  3. I see you have been already reverted by someone else. What you are doing is getting disruptive and perhaps should be dealt with a bit more force. --BorgQueen (talk) 04:09, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, I didn't realize you were an admin. I am curious why you would support a section on wine when it seems to glamorize the subject, rather than to expound on it in an encyclopedic way. I imagine looking at an encyclopedia in paperback and just can't envision finding a picture of a wine bottle on the page. But it seems to make a lot of sense to you and others for reasons I may never understand. Regardless, i think threats are quite unwarranted at this point. 174.74.68.103 (talk) 03:09, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
