Cadbury
Cadbury-Schweppes plc is a chocolate and beverage company. Its major United States unit is Dr Pepper/7Up. Jacob Schweppe developed a method to make mineral water in Geneva, Switzerland in 1783. In 1824, John Cadbury began vending tea, coffee and (later) chocolate in Birmingham, England, creating a major factory and purpose- built suburb called Bournville. The two companies merged to form Cadbury-Schweppes in 1969. Cadbury also has factories in Dunedin, New Zealand and Claremont in Tasmania. These three factories all offer tours.
