- As it can be seen here, Blockcommunity.net is not freely licenced, in fact it has a copyright notice Cambalachero (talk) 01:54, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- As it is explained in the discussion section of the image, it is not Copyrighted in any way. It was not released by the website. No copyright is displayed on the image. More information on the talk page. --MillenniumB (talk) 04:14, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- Delete Copyrighted, and there's no point in drafting a FUR, as the file is unused. Sven Manguard Wha? 01:56, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

- corporate logo from www.greenpeak.com; unlikely uploader is the corporation or that it was released as PD Skier Dude (talk) 04:49, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Delete It's been almost two months since that article has been worked on, if it's not ready for the mainspace now, then the image has to go, because fair use can't just languish in a draft page in the userspace. Sven Manguard Wha? 07:15, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

- variation from www.greenpeak.com - tineye search shows several variations on the same image; most likely original is from the greenpeak site Skier Dude (talk) 04:53, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

- Tagged as PD, however lots of TinEye matches for both versions (http://www.tineye.com/search/c170f106b236bae976b042c9ac81e959c051aba9/) and (http://www.tineye.com/search/aaf77ad3bc5e7da36f6444bb3ca3b1028fbb4383/). Acather96 (talk) 07:16, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Delete The top one is either from a video game or is art. It's a copyvio for sure, and as we can't really be sure what it is or where it came from, fair use is out of the question. Sven Manguard Wha? 07:27, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've reverted to the old version, which can be safely assumed to be an authentic medieval miniature and hence PD-Art; however, it is disappointing to see that this was uploaded and used on multiple articles without any indication where it comes from. I guess I'll speedy-delete the more recent version, which is almost certainly a copyvio. Fut.Perf. ☼ 07:35, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- BTW, note that a slightly larger copy of the same old miniature was previously uploaded at File:Tariq.jpg, but had no source either. Why, oh why do editors do such things? :-( Fut.Perf. ☼ 07:44, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

- This image was tagged with the "Denver Public Library public domain images" template, which is being deleted because the library's image collection does not consist exclusively of PD images. This image in particular is of uncertain status. The library's description page for the image says it is a reproduction of an oil painting, but they don't know when it was painted and the artist is credited as "O. Y. Rookstool", a person about whom I can find no biographical information. The image is used in two articles related to the battle it depicts, so perhaps there is a fair use justification, but I thought it best to let people more familiar with investigating image copyrights take a look at it. - Similar to the previous file I nominated, this image was tagged with the "Denver Public Library public domain images" template, which is being deleted because the library's image collection does not consist exclusively of PD images. This image indicates a 1926 creation date, which strongly suggests copyright still applies. Used in two articles; possibly a fair use justification applies to one of them, probably not to the other. File:Moffat tunnel construction.jpg
- Another image from the Denver Library collection. Their description page for the image gives contradictory information about the date, in one place saying 1880-81, in another saying 1923-27, which is a big difference in terms of copyright. If it is still under copyright, then fair use probably doesn't apply, because other free use images are available. RL0919 (talk) 16:48, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- "1880-81" isn't the creation date, it's the birth date of the photographer, and he lived until 1975. Copyright status would presumably depend mainly on publication history, which the website unfortunately says nothing about. Fut.Perf. ☼ 12:08, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

- File:Z-8 Beecher Island map.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Another Denver Library image. The link given for the description page is dead, and a search of their image database suggests the image is no longer available in their collection. It appears to be a reproduction of a page from The Beecher Island Annual, possibly published by some local historical association, but no date of publication is provided. - This photo dose not cite any references or sources on where it came from. The only non-wiki source that could be found was at http://www.papalartifacts.com/, which the website and contents were copyrighten. The last message on the talk page was four years ago. The up-loader has been non-active for four years. Dinkytown talk 19:18, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
