Thanks for the welcome Longhair
Thank You for the welcome Longhair, I appreciate it, and as for editing, I do enjoy it. Here is a list of some pages I've created (you can view more on my User Page):
Re. Kingdom Hearts OST
To be honest, I'd completely forgotten that there was a US version of the soundtrack. So I guess you're right, since this is the English Wikipedia we should use the English title. So I guess if a US version of the KH2 soundtrack comes out, the Passion songs should be changed to Sanctuary. Geg 17:55, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Images
The problem with the images is that you (or someone else) put the template tag {{albumcover}} on them, which classifies them as "copyrighted but fair use" images, like all the commercial album covers out there. Fair use images cannot be used in the user space. Since you created them and own the copyright, you should put a different template tag on them: I'd recommend {{GFDL-self}} or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators for more details. Good luck! — Catherine\talk 20:17, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- There's no need to re-upload an image when you need to retag it; just click on the image to get to the Image description page, then click "edit this page" like any other. Replace the {{existing tag}} with whatever your desired new tag is, and save. Since you have already re-uploaded, I will delete the old images for you.
- You put a box around your text by starting a new line with a space -- that tells the software to display it as "preformatted text", exactly as you typed it, without line wrapping or any other formatting.
Like this. See?
- When writing on user talk pages, it's common practice to put your comments at the bottom of the page, under a ==New header between equals signs, like this==. You can do this quickly and easily by clicking the "+" tab at the top of all talk pages, which will create a new section at the bottom for you. Hope that's helpful; happy editing! — Catherine\talk 20:51, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

External links
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Linkin Park have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Fixing vandalism
Ask them for citations! :)
The best way to handle real vandalism is just to keep reverting it; vandals get bored if the crap they add disappears within seconds or minutes. Slightly frustrating for you, but we really believe that soft security is more effective (and less confrontational, and less rewarding to the vandal) than other types of defense. I will add these pages to my watchlist and help revert any damage that is done.
Other options depend on whether it's the same username or IP address adding vandalism repeatedly -- if so, they should be warned to stop (you can do this yourself using the templates at Wikipedia:Vandalism), and if they persist, they can be blocked -- list them on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism.
If it's an array of different names/IPs, and if the vandalism is frequent and sustained over several days, the page can be temporarily semi-protected -- see Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.
Thanks for letting me know about the problem! — Catherine\talk 04:11, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
Hi. Thanks for the welcome on my talk page, and, no problem. Taking a look at your user page, I have many of the same interests. Additionally, I attend a lot of concerts and movie priemieres (living in the LA area), so I'm trying to bring a few of my own to Wikipedia. Thanks again! Imageboy1 08:40, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Kanye West
Well how about we split the mixtapes in half. The only problem is that I dont really know how to upload images legally so I can't do the mixtape covers. But that's the only problem I have. That would be cool. thanks
I can't find the High School Graduate Mixtape or the College Dropout: Mixtape Version 2
Yeah that would be great thanks

Mixtapes
Hi JackSparrow. I noticed you created a lot of mixtapes relating to Kanye West. My only issue with mixtapes is they can never expand beyond a track list. Unlike albums, they can never have sales, charts, production, reviews from music critics etc. You may want to see this massive Afd of Snoop Dogg tapes at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Welcome to tha chuuch mixtape vol.1, G-Unit ones at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All Eyez On Us (G-Unit Radio Part 5) and Game tapes at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Re-Advocate. I will probably WP:PROD the Kanye West ones. If you have any objections about this, feel free to leave a message. Cheers. Spellcast 10:21, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Image:DJ Z-Trip - Shifting Gears (Edited).jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Image:DJ Z-Trip - Shifting Gears (Edited).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

maintenance tags
I noticed that you removed the maintenance tags labeled {{Music-importance}} from a series of articles (all of them singles or EPs by the musical act Styles of Beyond). Please see Wikipedia:MUSIC#Songs: Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song. If you have a specific explanation for why each of these singles or EPs is notable enough to break from the general rule, I think it would be more helpful to add that explanation to the articles themselves rather than remove the maintenance tags. Without this information, the articles are not notable and are in danger of being nominated for deletion, or being redirected to the either the appropriate album or the main Styles of Beyond page. Thank you, --M@rēino 20:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- You make some good points, and I certainly don't want to imply that Styles of Beyond is not a notable musical act. But it hurts the case for notability that virtually all of these articles either have no sources, or only cite the website of someone affiliated with the group. It makes it very difficult to distinguish these articles from those that a non-notable group might put up on Wikipedia to try to get some free advertising. These songs might be leagues ahead of, say, Hey Baby (No Doubt song) artistically, but at least with that song's article, it's clear that the song had enough of an impact to acheive a critical mass so that there are enough sources, and potential editors familiar with the material, to maintain a healthy article. --M@rēino 01:50, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
^ all the haters XD
yo jay, do you ever get tired of those automated wiki "i hate ur page" messages? i still hate that they got rid of our SOB pages! anyways, I'm the one editing out the Hidden Track info on Hybrid Theory EP. It's not hidden, it's part of the song. If you listen to it, the scratching continues from the rock part over into and throughout the rap part. so it's just an outro or extra verse, and shouldn't have to be noted. --Djzap (talk) 05:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
oh ye lol. i did have something like "thanks to jay for all the userboxes" but it was coming out all squished etc on the side of the page so i got rid of it XD —Preceding unsigned comment added by Djzap (talk • contribs) 20:14, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:SkylarGrey2011.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:SkylarGrey2011.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 06:32, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:SkylarGrey-2011GRAMMYs.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:SkylarGrey-2011GRAMMYs.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Skylar Grey
I've performed the history merge. By the way, I re-read my original comment on her talk page, and I mentioned about the situation looking like a "slightly more complex cut and paste move". For the record, I was not accusing you of performing a cut and paste move (as you created the "Skylar Grey" article originally), and from the comments I read on renaming the article, not everyone was aware that Holly Brook and Skylar Grey were the same person (I only found out about it recently, after all). Thanks for all your work on her article. Best. Acalamari 11:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't take your comment that way, so no worries on that. I'm just glad that the merge is done, thanks for doing it. JackSparrow (talk) 13:12, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
