Iota Nu Delta (ΙΝΔ), is a South Asian interest fraternity geared towards men of all descents. It was founded on February 7, 1994, by a group of eight men of South Asian descent at Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York. The group's goal was to "bridge the gaps between people of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures by having them interact with their respective communities, and encourage cultural awareness through affiliation with a fraternal organization."[1]
National History
Iota Nu Delta was officially formed on February 7, 1994 on the campus of Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York. By forming the first ever all male South Asian Greek organization, their goal was to bridge the gaps between people of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures - all while promoting South Asian cultural awareness. Their efforts to date have paved the way for an upcoming of one of the largest organizations of its kind.

Controversies
Kishan Neelesh Vaidya, President of the IND chapter at East Carolina University, pleaded guilty to a felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance charge in Pitt County. He was placed on 24 months of probation.
He was charged again with a misdemeanor drug charge on September 2, 2011. He was released on $5,000 bond.
