Dreamworld is the largest theme park in Australia, located in Coomera on the Gold Coast.

Dreamworld is the world record holder for the Worlds Tallest Freefall Drop - the Giant Drop at 119m. The newest ride at Dreamworld is The Claw, which is a Gyro Swing, a type of ride never seen before in the Southern Hemisphere. Other rides include the Tower Of Terror, as of 2005 the world's fifth fastest roller coaster. Dreamworld also includes a water park; several restaurants; kids areas Nick Central the new Wiggles World for toddlers and infants; as well as and many more themed areas such as Tiger Bay, and Gold Rush Country.

Dreamworld is also where, amongst other things, the Australian edition of Big Brother and Friday Night Games is filmed.

Thrill Rides

Big 5 Thrill Rides

  • The Claw - is a Gyroswing Ride and is the only ride of the type in the Southern Hemisphere. It is similar to maXair at Cedar Point theme park.
  • Tower of Terror - is a reverse freefall ride, based on the Superman Escape at Six Flags Magic Mountain, it was the fastest and tallest ride in the world. It is now the world's 5th fastest rollercoaster. The rides support structure, which it shares with the Giant Drop is a major landmark on the Gold Coast.
  • Giant Drop - is the tallest freefall drop ride in the world at 119 m and features a two minute wait at the top of the tower before the drop, and will often wait until the Tower of Terror reaches the top of the tower so people riding can feel the tower rumble and sway around.
  • Cyclone - is the tallest high gravity roller-coaster in Australia. Originally named the Big Dipper and located at Luna Park Sydney, it was relocated to Dreamworld after controversies concerning it's orignal location forced Luna Park to close for several years.
