Old talk

Note: Nudel'man gives 82S 54E; so does [1]. The confusion probably arises of what was then and is now known about the shape of antarctica. William M. Connolley 20:29, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use after December 1958

Has the station never been used after December 1958? Was it built with the intention of using it for a few days in December 1958? Why would anybody erect buildings and a statue if it was clear that they wouldn't be used ever after? If there were plans to use the station again, why have they never been carried out? 21:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
