Thanks for the barnstar...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. On another note, you removed some comments left by a "less than impressed" editor from my talk page. I understand what you were trying to do, but removing comments left by other editors is frowned upon in wiki culture, so I had to undo your edit. You're new and learning the ropes, so don't sweat it too much. Anyway, thanks again for the barnstar. --SeedFeeder (talk) 09:35, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Np, sorry 'bout that deletion thing, I'm new :/Trinjac (talk) 06:19, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:MP-40 SMG Neon.png

Thanks for uploading File:MP-40 SMG Neon.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation.Template:Z134 --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

January 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Webley self loading pistol, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Abhijay (☎ Talk) (✐ Deeds) 11:17, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A belated welcome!

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Trinjac. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! --Sp33dyphil ©hatontributions 23:32, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Military History introduction

Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited MAC-10, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blowback (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

More information needed about File:Apache Pistol Folding.png

Hello, Trinjac!

It was really helpful of you to you to upload File:Apache Pistol Folding.png. However, we need to properly format the image license information in order to keep and use new images.

If you can edit the description and add one of these templates, that would be great. If you're not sure how or would like some help, please ask us at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks again!Template:Z136 --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:05, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Military Historian of the Year

Nominations for the "Military Historian of the Year" for 2011 are now open. If you would like to nominate an editor for this award, please do so here. Voting will open on 22 January and run for seven days. Thanks! Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Alpine regiment, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 20:25, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you just delete the article! It is FAR from finished. I accidentally clicked "save article" instead of "preview article". I wrote a lot more, until a stupid editing conflict made me delete about 5 paragraphs.... Your help and concernis much appreciated Trinjac (talk) 20:29, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
